Just here reminiscing most if my childhood with this fantastic music, this is well etched into my mind, almost water up a little bit when I hear this every time in a good nostalgic way
I just played this game (remake) for the first time last summer (2023) and listening to the ost some months later already gives me a nostalgia feel i don't have with almost anything, it's like if i played this 20 years back and i'm just 16. Listening to this particular song makes me want to tear up from nostalgia because i was SO happy at that time, i don't want to grow up guys.
It's weird how much work went into this. For real, the people who made this all seemed to agree this was a big deal. Like a lot of game company's back then and today, would have gotten this project and half assed it. Yet these guys seemed to understand that Spongebob was a big deal for a lot of kids back then and thought "we will make sure this game kicks ass". So it did.
This theme gives me the feels, it’s so nostalgic to me. This game is amazing, and needs a remaster, or re-release at least. They sure don’t make them like this anymore.
Man sponge bob truth or square for the will was my childhood game I love the music and this music brings back happy and summer memories I will always have a special place for sponge bob in my heart
I really don't get the people who say this game is just meh. I think they focus a bit too much on the stressful parts when you look at the game as a whole it's great!
Ahhh, the memories. I remember when my dad and I would play this game on the Play Station 2 when I was 6, probably even younger. I played this game my whole like until around 2013 or early 2014, when my dad lost it in his apartment. Then the Play Station finally broke for that last time. :( For my birthday I either want books(RUclipsr biographies), or a Play Station 2 with the game Battle for Bikini Bottom.(:

This is such delightful music this game has. I think I remember playing this game when I was a kid. Great platformer that is said to be one of the best licensed video games ever made next to The Simpsons: Hit & Run.
I'm so very glad Rehydrated is dubbed in 6 different non-english languages, but suddenly that's not enough, I wish the game had MORE Audio Language options, including Latin-Spanish, Brazilian-Portuguese, British-English (I know it doesn't exist, but the idea wiki has it), Russian, Korean, Dutch, Flemish, Hungarian, Finnish, Swedish and my most favorite language that I don't even understand fluently: Danish! By the way, don't take this comment seriously. As much as I would've loved to see more audio languages available in BfBB Rehydrated, I completely understand that not only do some countries have certain foreign-language voice-actors that can't get their jobs recorded on a video-game, and not only that, I may also understand that adding even more audio-hearing languages would take up too much storage space for the amount of bytes held in Rehydrated's game-disc (or cartridge for Nintendo Switch) than it can handle, but lastly, I am aware that dubbing, recording & translating a game like SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom Rehydrated can cost a whole lotta money, so can you guess something? I really appreciate how THQ took their time translating BfBB Rehydrated alongside their main casts from other languages working on this game's dialogue as well! I really appreciate having Fake-Spanish, Italian, German, French, Polish and Japanese (even if Plankton's JP voice creeps me out) as available languages in BfBB! Because 6 non-english language options is way better than nothing (we could've gotten none, so... thanks THQ! =)

A GREAT Soundtrack to a GREAT game from back in the day! This is one of the first console video games I ever played and I have to say, I'm not ashamed whatsoever to admit that. This game was SO MUCH FUN to play as a little kid, and the great amount of nostalgia I have in general from listening to this Soundtrack only makes it even better! Bikini Bottom in this game is one of the best Hub Worlds in any video game imo, and Sand Mountain is one of my favorite levels in any video game of all time. It's just too much of a shame that current Spongebob games aren't even able to come "close", and I mean "CLOSE", to the joy that this game brings me everytime I play it. This game is a packaged combination of pure entertainment, fun, and sweet nostalgia delivered in a video game!

Just here reminiscing most if my childhood with this fantastic music, this is well etched into my mind, almost water up a little bit when I hear this every time in a good nostalgic way
"I loved those spoons like they were my children! Now wont you help me? Before they bend all my forks?!"
NOT THE FORKS!
Time to rehydrate after all that nostalgia
This song + Music make your lose control
xd good mix
I cant describe it but this theme always just gives me a feeling of joy i cant really tell you why, it just makes me feel happy
So it did.
My childhood :)
Same
:')
"Did you find my lost socks?"
"Not yet, Patrick."
"Oh. Did they find you?"
You copying
@@jarotyusviqandito2232 What do you mean he is copying? He is literally using the quote from the game stupid
I’d make myself a snack, BUT THERE’S NO TIME!!!
I've owned this game for more than I decade, and I still play it.
If you didn't play this game, you didn't have a childhood.
I bought this game the day it came out for my ps2 and I was 5 years when I played it and it was the most amazing game I've ever played
Josh Martin OOF; this means I don't have one.
I played the Movie Game. Not this one.
It's So Cool Playing it 😎🎶👍 2019
Luckily I did before we sold my moms gamecube (yes she gave it to me but I still called it hers)
One of the best video games ps2
I really don't get the people who say this game is just meh. I think they focus a bit too much on the stressful parts when you look at the game as a whole it's great!
Ahhh, the memories. I remember when my dad and I would play this game on the Play Station 2 when I was 6, probably even younger. I played this game my whole like until around 2013 or early 2014, when my dad lost it in his apartment. Then the Play Station finally broke for that last time. :(
For my birthday I either want books(RUclipsr biographies), or a Play Station 2 with the game Battle for Bikini Bottom.(:
Eva Ann they dont do playstation 2's unfortunately :'(
+Samuel Vasa Unless you buy them online like amazon.
+Eva Ann I remember me playing this game when I was 8...in 2008....memories :/ :')
That's sad but my ps2 still works perfectly after 13 odd years
"So, do you want to trade shiny objects for a golden spatula?"
"Yer treasure chest's lookin' a bit light, boy. Do you think I've got bilge water on the brain? Come back when you have enough shiny objects to trade."
Man, its such a perfect start to the games music
NOSTALGIA RIGHT IN DA FACE!
Everytime I feel lonely and depress I just listen to these soundtracks remembering my childhood times, it makes my depression away from me :-D I missed childhood games, now I'm 21
I'm 14, and this was my all time favorite game from my childhood, haha
AJourneyInGaming
This still is one of my favorite games, after all these years lol
I hope they could remake most of the ps1 and ps2 games on pc hehe, but sadly we cant feel the same way as we were young that time :-(
I haven't played this game in 10 years yet I still remember this song. That's what you call memorable. :)
Hub Pie Sameeee :)
Even though I'm not a kid anymore this is still in my top 10 favorite video game OSTs of all time
Ok Nick, even though you've made "exceptional" games, this HAD to be your best.
Even though the new graphics are "better", NOTHING CAN BEAT THIS GAME. this game has to be remade with a sequel, please
Jeb the human I agree
NIGGA GUESS WHAT
and after 15 years,, the game has returned 😎
This game was my childhood.
damn, this brings up good times when i was exited for the ps2
I came back here to listen to this, and when i do listen to it i get all of these memories from when I was a kid playing this game I almost wanted to cry, so nostalgic
One of the greatest games ever made
This music is so beautiful it makes me want to stop playing for 5 years so I can have nostalgia for it.
this music is so nostolgic I remember after rageing at bosses in this game, I come to bikini bottom to dance and jump around as spongebob to this song.....damn I miss this game
OH MY GOD NOSTALGIA BOMB
Who else is here cuz of the remaster? :D
Patrick: did you find my lost socks?
SB: Not yet Patrick.
Patrick: Oh, did they find you?
This is such delightful music this game has. I think I remember playing this game when I was a kid. Great platformer that is said to be one of the best licensed video games ever made next to The Simpsons: Hit & Run.
This game was my childhood, whenever I had free time to myself I would play this for hours. Now I do the same thing but with different games
R.I.P Stephen Hillenburg
A man who made this battle worth it
He was #1
That's good
I'm so very glad Rehydrated is dubbed in 6 different non-english languages, but suddenly that's not enough, I wish the game had MORE Audio Language options, including Latin-Spanish, Brazilian-Portuguese, British-English (I know it doesn't exist, but the idea wiki has it), Russian, Korean, Dutch, Flemish, Hungarian, Finnish, Swedish and my most favorite language that I don't even understand fluently: Danish!
Because 6 non-english language options is way better than nothing (we could've gotten none, so... thanks THQ! =)
Such a good game. This one and the movie video were so great when I first played them. I have both on GameCube plus The Creature from the Krusty Krab and a Wii game with robits. And the music these games have make me love SpongeBob more!
so much nostalgia. it's amazing.
They even bent all my spoons...I LOVED THOSE SPOONS LIKE THEY WERE MY CHILDREN! Oh, won't you help me stop them? Before they bend all my forks?
*NOT THE FORKS!!!*
Rest in peace Stephen Hillenberg. Your work will always shine on this world.
Left behind a great legacy for future young gens to watch and laugh
This game gaves me a strongest childhood that I played on PS2
Damn those are good time 🥺
It’s ok buddy I still have my PS2 and this game even to this day don’t be sad the nostalgia will always live on no matter what
@@diegofavaratozfilms962 wait you do !? Nice ! I didn’t even know that you have PS2
Also have you ever have that game known as rehydrated ? Cuz I have that on Switch version
