Yamada-kun and the 7 Witches: This is a great show and a lot of fun. 1. The Quintessential Quintuplets: Sigh. I got into the manga and was amazed. Then the anime arrived with an incredibly accurate and excellent first season, followed by a 2nd season that followed the first season's pacing for the first couple of episodes and then went into warp speed, rushing through the storyline. And then the movie repeated the manga's disastrous choice. Allow me to explain: The manga and the anime start the same way: It's the MC's wedding day, and he's flashing back to when he first met his bride, who is reveled to be one of 5 identical quintuplet sisters (the hair coloration is for the audience benefit). We get a rom-com harem story where there will be a choice AND it's also a mystery. For much of the manga, Negi Haruba follows the rules of mysteries and does it well. And that rule: Setting things up so that when reveals are made, the reader/audience can go back and see that clues were fairly given, that they did have a chance to solve the mystery. Alas, Negi got bored about the growing proposed length of the manga and bailed, betraying his readers and moving onto something else. So, instead of continuing to follow the rules of mysteries, he did posterior pulling, which included multiple directly contradictory reasoning and recalling of events. Worse, there was an outstanding arc in the manga, "Scrambled Eggs" which got shredded in season 2. However, both the manga and the anime end with a flash forward where he reveals that it was that time he became interested in the Quint he marries. Problem? Yes, there was a problem, because there was ZERO way that the Quint he marries could have been that girl! 2 of the Quints play a huge part in the Scrambled Eggs arc, with a 3rd in a very distant 3rd place. The other 2 girls have minimal impact, yet one of those two is the girl he picks. I've ranted about this before, because this doesn't even scratch the surface about the problems with this choice, but suffice to say that the worst, least qualified girl is chosen, a girl who is totally eliminated in the Scrambled Eggs arc. It's just the worst choice.
Could you do a top ten romance anime without a harem? I recently watched "Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion", "Dahlia In Bloom", and "Apothecary Diaries" and am looking for something like those.

Lil bro asks sis if he can come over to hang out again. It's a high school anime where we see character growth from not just 1 protagonist, but a whole group of friends. Romance blunders, successes, friendships grown, past insecurities overcome. Season 1 was going to be the whole story, but it was very popular, so they added a second season called missing pieces. Instead of extending the story past graduation, it goes back and covers parts of the story that got skipped in season 1. I loved it, and this is one of the few anime that is great subbed or English dub.

Ok... I was waiting for the BEST TOP 10 HAREM ANIMES... But 4, 3 and 1 fooled me... Seriously? Gotoubon? Really? This shit isn't harem at all, especially with that shitty ending, where he chooses just one girl, who was one of the most boring, who didn't even fight to be with the guy... If he had stayed with others, then it would be harem, but okay... I think the one who should have come first was clearly 100 girlfriends, which is the best and most perfect anime in terms of harem, since the protagonist gets all of them

Anime is just colorful cartoons with big eyes, dramatic expressions, and over-the-top action. It's entertainment for those who enjoy exaggerated emotions, unrealistic scenarios, and escapism. Sure, the art can be pretty, and the stories can be fun, but isn't it all just a distraction from reality?
