Hello from the United States. I'm a retired volunteer firefighter here in Pensacola NW Florida. It looks like there is a lot of volunteer fire companies from all over Manila. How many fire companies are there. Judging by the look of things there alot of firetrucks at a big fire. You guys keep safe and God bless you all you volunteer firefighters,
based on the list by txt fire Philippines, within manila alone there is around 205~ listed volunteer brigades. There are probably more units that aren't registered there yet but still help out
in indonesia also,if you search "relawan pemadam kebakaran banjarmasin" use indonesia languange btw,so you see around 1000 volunteer firefighter in there,they are buying pump with all of they money,not from the government

Ilang beses nagkasunog sa area na yan at ilang beses naantala sa operasyon ng LRT Line 2 sa may Recto, Maynila kaya ang mga pasahero, naperwisyo, dapat nga irelocate na ang mga tao malapit sa istasyon. Commuter ako, at madalas nababalitaan na naantala ang LRT Line 2 sa may Recto, kaya, naantala ang aking importanteng lakad

Because of lack of funds to bought equipment, but still they're brave and risk their lives just to save lives and property
They're 100% volunteers, they're not part of a well paid firefighters from Bureau of Fire Protection. Almost all around the world, volunteer firefighters don't really get paid, they mostly rely of donations, even in the first world countries. You should search first before making a comment. But even when they lack the equipment, they're still doing whatever they can to help their community. So salute to all firefighters, be it from a government funded workers or the volunteers.
