They're tuned into Cell at Barston with the carp boys dumping in kilo after kilo of crushed boilies, i always fish it with cell micros and 8mm cell boillies and dumbell wafters, best way to do it, catch loads.
Thank you for the entertaining and informative videos.. keep up the good work.. The cralusso quick change swivels im finding four different sizes online.. how to i know which one to choose for the correct fit to my method feeder? The 0.20 hook length what type of line do you use e.g. mono / fluorocarbon / unifilament ? Thanks
Hi Andy great video pal !! Can you tell me when useing a light Bomb do you strike or do the fish still hook them self’s like they would on a heavy one ?
Kevin Brindle all about the fall, a bomb gives you a lot more chance of fish taking it on the drop or following it down. On a method or hybrid you are only fishing once it has hit deck 👍🏻
Andy as this was a "pleasure session" on a lovely day at a well stocked fishery why are you feeding the bomb like a pellet waggler swim? Were you filming a pellet wag section after? I've always found that aggressive and heavy feeding keeps the fish down (if they're feeding well) and stops them rising in the water when they're drip fed. I'm not criticising btw just curious, I love pellet and bomb at any time of the year, but in the summer on a pleasure session with a couple of kilos of 8 mils oh yes!
@@cns180784 Three would be very rare, that amount and more used to work at Meadowlands but it's not allowed anymore. Commercial fish are totally conditioned to the sound of bait hitting the water, I've found that heavy baiting draws the fish in and keeps them on the deck, if they're swirling even with heavy baiting then switch to the pellet waggler. I generally also use a target bait rather than matching the hatch when there's a lot of bait in the water. I just fish for pleasure these days, just me against the fish, in a match you'd have to be more cautious in a lot of scenarios, Andy would probably have kittens watching me lash the "brown rain" in!
@@cns180784 Totally depends on the day, some days you will go through lots of bait, other days you might only catch on it for an hour. Always worth having a couple of spare bags on hand just incase, thats the beauty of pellets where you can just re bag anything you don't use for next time :)
Hi can you please recommend a fishery like this that’s within one hour of Greater Manchester with good figures of carp in that’s also suitable to fish these methods for a wheelchair user so not to far to travel from car to peg please. Thank you.
I think its great that men like you go to so much trouble making videos to help and encourage others like me.
Great upload as usual , love the rod rests btw , side draw and keepnet ooosh !

Best rods I've ever used, bought one to try now own 9.
Mint video. Dying to go fishing now.
Andy your way of explaining and showing the bomb rig is way better than Jamie's 😉😄
I always use the map reels with the clip that the line can pull out of. So l always clip up without fear of being snapped
Great videos, Andy

My local lake says no semi fixed feeders so by putting the rubber stopper on behind the feeder does it make it semi fixed
It probably will do, if your not sure always check with fishery owners before hand to avoid any problems 👍🏻
Top bombing Andy mate! 🤣👍

What 3 grades of map elastic would cover all commercial fishing needs
Nice muscles Andy.
Your pellet will fall faster anyway because it's got a bomb pulling it down 😉
Great vid Andy, what is the feeder mix mate🤔
What was the rod please, the exact model if possible. Nice and light but will cast a method.

I'm puzzled. When did legering become, "fishing the bomb"?
Same thing different name... so probably about the same time they changed Marathon bars to Snickers or Opal Fruits to Starbursts.
Because the original lead was called an Arelsey Bomb
Come on the fishes!
you mentioned the method was`nt working because the fish did`nt want to be on the bottom,so you changed to a bomb....is that not the same ?

In the summer they both go hand in hand, we did end up catching on the waggler but always worth having both set up in a match 👍🏻
So do you get through a few kilos of 8 mil's in just one session? that being in the summer?
