So eclectic Aaliya! From Tull's MyGod to Negrete's YoSoyMexicano on the same release date...
I grew up with IanAnderson's Tull, seeing the band thrice in the early 70s. What an amazing multidimensional performer!!!
And I lived in rural Mexico for 5 yrs, among un pueblo que adoro la musica de JorgeNegrete. (Sorry for my rusty español.)

I'm impressed that you even know about these songs and movies. I'm maxican and live in the US for a long time, but it's not until a few years ago that I discovered and got into the Mexican Gold area of cinema from late 1940s to about 1960s. Him and Pedro Infante used to make such a great couple and actor partners at least in the screens. look them up, there are at least a few dozen and I have enjoyed them throughout the years. Good For your for trying to learn more from other cultures.
