The fact that they used one of my favorite Hans Zimmer scores, Broken Arrow, just makes this trailer even better. One of the greatest "One Last Hurrah!" movies ever made.
Has only gotten better with time. Just watched it; first time since 2015. I now hear musical cues from Heartbreak Ridge (1986) as Frank is bringing the shuttle down; at least this is what I'm hearing after all this time. Also, in retrospect, I believe this to be Tommy Lee Jones' most subtlety heroic role. This film was one of my late-fiancée's favorite films and we must have watched it together dozens of times OnDemand or on the DVD which she'd purchased back in '02.
RIP James Garner (April 7, 1928 - July 19, 2014), aged 86 And RIP Donald Sutherland (July 17, 1935 - June 20, 2024), aged 88 You both will be remembered as legends.
I've never seen this movie... Looks flippen awesome.... I'm watching it as inspiration because I've made a state golf side of 8......6 of them are under 30yrs...... I'm 45 and the other guy I'm paired with on my team is 49!!
It's such a shame we just don't get movies like this anymore. Just a fun adventure with no ham fisted political or politically adjacent messages shoved in to mess it up.
I wish the table at 1:15 had had DeForrest Kelley sitting with them; even for a cameo. De, to me, will always be Hollywood’s original Space Cowboy. Unfortunately he passed away the same month principal photography began on this.
Not really. There are several major plot points not in the trailer. If you didn't know they were going to go into space and something would go wrong...well you've never seen a movie before.
hahaha, I remember seeing this movie in the theater in its first week, extraordinary movie, I laughed a lot, very inspiring movie for older people who can still stand firm in the face of life, the end of the movie is an ode to personal sacrifice for the good of others, EXTRAORDINARY: D
R.I.P. Donald Sutherland. One of the best! I thoroughly enjoyed watching your movies.
RIP Donald Sutherland loved in this movie you were great you will
Be forever missed by so many
"You ever met a kid who wouldn't grow up" Tommy Lee Jones. Love it
0:53-0:55: You can’t get anymore badass than Clint Eastwood and Tommy Lee Jones👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿

My favorite one is Hammerhead by Hans Zimmer in which starts at 2:01

Not only that it's also of the best "Underdog" movies ever made. Can these old dudes do it?
Yes yes!! Broken arrow. I loved this trailer for this

Can’t wait till this comes out.
Dude best comment I’ve seen in a long time! 😂😂😂
RIP DONALD SUTHERLAND ❤❤❤
Clint's voice sounds gruff and creepy monstrous in Gran Torino!
What did you have for breakfast frank? Some kind of a decaf mochachino that tasted like it was filtered through a jockstrap. Classic Eastwood
Sadly, only two of those Space Cowboys are still with us. Tommy Lee Jones and Clint Eastwood

found this on a CD from 2000 in waaay lower quality. :)

Jesus was Clint Eastwood *ever* young?
Rawhide. Rowdy Yates.
Yes in the 50s-60s-70s
Firefox and Clint Eastwood

What is the song when they are first entering the NASA?
OK I got it - - Space Cowboy (Yipee-Yi-Yay) NSYNC
@@RairAfairIt's interesting this song was not on the soundtrack for this film.
Back when trailers told the whole movie.

Way before deepfakes. Who was the actor playing young Eastwood? Incredible.
