I once made a defense with the layers of:
Wood (first layer)
Wool (second layer)
Glass (third layer)
Water (fourth layer)
Glass (fifth layer)
Then I covered the island with a giant sheet of wood and wool. (also made alot of upside-down T's ontop of it, along with giant letters saying "HA")
