Just some thoughts:
James 4:2-3 sheds light on this concept as well. “Amiss” I believe is anything outside of His will/purpose. I believe the ultimate plan/goal/desire/purpose (however you wanna word it) is for our “will”/desire and His to line up…become “ONE” like Jesus “not my will but Yours” not of myself but the Father…as we commit our way/work to the LORD/die to self/put off the old man and seek first the kingdom not only do we begin to understand “the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure which he purposed in himself” but our desires begin to become His desires therefore established within His will/purpose. ……….Which according to scripture He chose us(purpose) in himself before the foundations…hints things like even our good works prepared beforehand that we SHOULD walk in them……
Absolutely agree! If you aim not lined up to His will then it will be “a miss.”

The phrase, “Commit your work…” is a Hebrew phrase that means to “roll a burden to someone else for relief.” What he is saying is this: It can be hard to follow God’s plan while walking in the flesh. He is saying, give all the work to God and then we will be empowered to walk in His plan. Remember, Jesus said His burden was light…which corresponds to the need to commit or give the work or the burden to God in order to see the fulfillment of God’s plan in our life.

Has anyone commented about the fact that when the Bible was translated the words “weigh” and “way” are just coincidentally placed in a comparative spot in the verse?😮 man evaluates his own life based on how he lives it, the Lord evaluates our lives based on the weight of our spirit. Does our spirit really have weight? Or is this just metaphorical? Should it be light with joy and pureness? Or should it be heavy and full of love? ALSO. Are the wicked created with a wicked purpose? I don’t think so. Must be for a good purpose… for the day of trouble. Hmmm what is the day of trouble?

What are some signs of plans working out and not working out? I ask because I’m at a cross roads of a certain area and I’m wondering if what’s going on is from Him or my own thoughts.
EVERYTHING he knows. We know nothing only that he knows everything. We must repent and ask him for guidance through prayer. I know I need to continually repent and ask for forgiveness and for him to help me refrain from sinful ways. The Lord is the only way for me, and for you my friend. I believe in Jesus, and everything he says.
What immediately comes to mind is the story in 1 Samuel 14:1-20. I understand the confusion because sometimes there’s opposition from the enemy and God asks us to persevere through that difficulty. Other times, that difficulty to move forward is actually from God, and He’s keeping us from going any further because it’s not His will. But Romans 12:1-2 tells us we can learn to discern the will of God. Some general “signs” of things working out, would be that obstacles are removed, things fall into place etc.

He told me to do business, but I’m in a different country, and have absolutely no help. I don’t know if He changed His mind. I’ve committed it to Him, and can do nothing to further it. So, I don’t know what He wants.
I would like to know what God approves of for me or not, like how could I tell? This is one of my difficulties. I shouldn't read bones or cast lots, but they absolutely did do this in the old testament. Perhaps, because he already knows the future, he doesn't have a strong opinion like Oracle from the Matrix? I need work here brother, how to pray. He's not a Genie...I shouldn't ask for anything. But there are things I want to ask for. Isn't this selfish?
God reveals himself more to you're spirit through his word and revelation the more time you spend in a state of prayer. Try to pray atleast one hour a day purposely seeking him, remain in a state of worship, be purposely mindful of God through out the day then weigh your plans according to God's word that he brings to mind.

Wrong by far. The “work” is how we conduct our daily lives in emotions…living in His Love toward one another is work: patience and kindness and long suffering to not be a clanging cymbal or a sounding gong and so on as in Corinthians 13.
Plans in man’s heart are just that, career or dreams of in which facet we choose to apply our “work”, plans and work coincide, but are far from the same. One can do the “works” of God while not even having a job and vice versa, one can fulfill life plans in career or play and never do Gods “work”.
I am thrilled to see young men studying the Bible, but it is very important not to be the blind leading the blind or you’re lead yourself and others into a ditch.
Iron sharpens iron, I am not condemning you for your heart is following its plan for your life, yet your “works” require further knowledge before you can properly teach. Keep up the study, possibly add a mentor to you plan before launching faults teachings. Thanks for considering that none of know what we don’t know until the Holy Spirit is received and guides.

The whole world will be deceived except for the very elect even the elect would be if it was possible why ant it possible? Because God won't allow them to be deceived? No one can say that they are the elect they don't have a choice they were justified by God before the foundation of the world
