Thank you so much for all the effort you put in this free mod that we all have the chance to play and this nice community where i met many friends these last 3 years. I really hope that your next projects will be the same as enjoyable as Screaming Steel.

Thank you for the amazing effort that you put towards the screaming steel mod. Whenever me and my friends are feeling for a ww1 game, we go straight into the screaming steel mod. This mod could easily have been paid dlc, and I’m so thankful that it’s free. Keep up the amazing work!

I've been playing this for last few weeks and gotta say the devs did a great job. Quality is close to the same level as vanilla DOI. Maps, characters, weapons all solid!
Deserves a standalone version on steam
Imagine my grief when finding out Day of Infamy is dead right as I wanted to get into this mod! Hopefully mod anniversary dates are enough to fill a server or two to play. This has to be the most faithful WW1 action game ever made.

Edit: Givenchy needs Invasion mode
Thanks! In an ideal world both Somme and Givenchy could use Invasion, but after doing tests they were both simply too small for that mode to work out properly. Distances were too short, and spacing between objectives were too irregular.
HYPE. I still enjoy playing this game because no other gives me the same feeling. There's Insurgency and Squad for modern combat, but still nothing else like this for WWI and II!
Forgotten Hope 2 and Red Orchestra 2 for WW2, if you haven't checked them.

@@angamaitesangahyando685 Haven't heard of Forgotten Hope 2, I'll Check that out. RO2 is a great game, but I think the gunplay in DOI is more "crisp" If that makes sense

Co-op in Screaming Steel is super fun! I hopped on it with a friend the other day, and an hour later, the server was full! Made a few friends that day!

How am I just learning of this mod now? Gonna check this out more, but DoI's engine, and WWI, I'm probably gonna love it
ive never tried day of infamy, quite sad its not popular the game looks sick
It is, pvp or coop each bullet is a threat and simply seeing an enemy means you're in danger. The player base is small but you can still find games
bro i didnt even know that this was real, i thought this game was dead, and this was an out of season april fools, but thx for it being real very good mod
why you turn off all comments in wolfenstein ost videos
Really wish this mod worked, been trying to play coop with friends but every time we try to start a server it says it's full. Same thing with practice mode, none of the maps load and it says server is full. Was fun while it lasted though.
Cant say I've ever encountered this issue with our official coop or pvp servers. Make sure you've enabled the proper playlist (ww1/mp_battles or ww1/coop).
The bug also persisting in practice mode makes little sense to me. Try to resubscribe to the mod or manually scrub the files from your steam workshop folder and resubscribe.
Hello everyone the bots of the mod are good? they can shoot their guns, granades and artillery? I thinking to buy DOI

@@Pyke64 we work on this mods with the purpose of reviving the game (at least for a short ammount time) but most times something is announced people come suggesting to abandone the project or that is worthless. Modding is hard and takes a lot of time and those comments are a huge punch into our fragile motivation. Please consider modders and try doing positive comments, otherwise dont expect any content coming any time soon.
