I always get hungry watching this show - the food looks top notch, good old school grub. Since 1900 eh - you can just imagine all the real hard case east enders back in the day coming in for a feed and a chin wag. I watched the Kevin Rowland one last night - all up to date now😊
You two crack me up! If people are near Lucca and wanna experience authentic Garfagnana food and hospitality without going into the depths of the mountains - I'd thoroughly recommend Da Valentino in Fiano which is a short drive up into the hills. The family who run it get tax breaks for using their own produce from their small holdings. It's like walking into someones house and is always busy with locals. You'll get served up huge piles of amazing, in season food and wine that is unique to the area. If you don't finish you'll even get a doggy bag! 😅
Quite a cliche, talking about roots, respect, and growing up. Allan threw all his old mates under the bus, mates he grew up with, stuck by him, fought his battles. All but one, 'kieran' who he was and is still sleeping with. He used to be a pig for bacon rolls and kebabs, his favourite. Mugged all his pals off when he found his fame. His character hasn't changed, but his mindset has. Can't comment if his breath still stinks, but I'll ask nev and anna when I eat there again. Until then, ciao.
That was one of the best Allan interview. Good chemistry.
Great show. Chemistry between you all made it.
Brilliant, can't wait for the next one❤
I think Nev and Anna are great. So down to earth and they have a quality sense of humour 👌
This was amazing :)
