- edit of eclipse SAMS ( Sun and moon show) I really love eclipse’s character..I don’t think he’s staying dead they foreshadow his redemption/return to much but I do think it may be 6 months or so before they arc him into a returning as someone who wants to help he truly deserves a better fate than this..
This makes me wanna cry. The second I saw Eclipse I instantly loved him and I always knew what troubles he went through and still was. I hate it when everyone just criticises him. Liking villains more isn’t nice at all. Liking them more makes you know a more sad story,they get less attention,some people bully you for liking them and some shout at you for mentioning them as a good guy. I know that all from experience.

Same, I also loved Eclipse from the start! The moment he was defined as his own person in the show, I immediately knew that something was up. And tbh, I used to regret liking Eclipse (bc his the "villain"). But now I can't just look at him and say, "Oh it's a villain". He's a sad, misunderstood person who was left alone to figure out who he was and why he existed. He even regretted some of his actions and thought over the effect of them. It makes me happy that I'm not the only one who understands his character :)
I was very touched by it. I like Eclipse and I got into him after learning that he was like that for a reason. He was betrayed and now he's just a character who made a mistake and no one wants to forgive this mistake of his:(
This is why I feel bad for Eclipse and Bloodmoon. This is why they're comfort characters.

Also we can do a parallel with Lunar . Both of them were created as a tool for Eclipse the difference as that Lunar found a family , a better life. Bloodmoon also found a family but the only person he cared about , Kc, kinda left him once he died. As for Lunar he got fixed by Monty, Bloodmoon was fixed to be a tool . And no one is wants and or knows how to help him .

I understand where your coming from but if you remember that one video when they show when Eclipse built him, he almost instantly wanted to kill. He was the one who did July 16. So I think blood moon was always the villain sadly 😥
To be honest everyone hated eclipse hardcore until we saw who he really was which was basically old moon and while we still had to hate for him, we felt a bit more sad for him as he was just left behind as a broken memory in a place of isolation… I literally started to cry watching this because I remembered when we learned who he was under the name and look and I just couldn’t watch the rest for a bit, a bit pathetic isn’t it?

@@SweetOrangeGirl He did think about them/regret them. They weren't right in any aspect, and he did that out of a need for revenge, but he still did regret some of what he did later.
Eclipse wasnt a true villain, sure he killed multiple people, but he always had a heart deep down, I hope he somehow managed to come back
And it is the same with Bloodmoon. Bloodmoon seems to yell and fuss when someone tells him he can change, he's lost. He doesn't understand right from wrong, he needs a strong hand to save him, I hope Sun comes to realize this.

I love this so much and it’s very true eclipse was very much hated and was shown just as the villain but after a while we got to see what drove him off that ledge, and that was because he felt abandoned and unneeded, and it was too late to change it, also you know what Elsa would’ve fit the ending whenever it says I was the one holding the gun where Nexus before going insane and solar dying whenever he was forcing eclipse to go to therapy and at the end, he said sorry for abandoning you
This reminds me of when we first got to see the world Esclipse knows aka suns mindscape. I remember pausing the video and realising that was it, that void was it. Then i rewatchrd some episodes and I tried my bect to ingore his tone and listen to his words. He sounds like a scared, confused, angry child who is freaking out because he realises he has no allies in the world from birth, and I've never been able to fully villainise him since. ❤
I knew I liked Eclipse for a good reason! Bro got abandoned as a child and turned into a villain, and to be fair, did some things...
Also, maybe because Eclipse can be redeemed or has more story to be revealed,he's is back on the show now!

Ok, I am not very good at explaining so if you want an explanation on Eclipses backstory and origins I recommend you read off of the fandom wiki sun and moon show. But also a lot of charcters have done things as horrible as eclipse had if not worse but people till like them because they are the “good guys” or “the main charcters” and the characters like Eclipse because they are the “bad guys” or the “villain”. Like as an example, people hate Eclipse because he was abusive towards lunar, but fans don’t keep in mind Moondrop was also a terrible and borderline abusive brothers towards Sun (Mentally and physically) but people still love Moondrop because he’s a “good guy” and “main character” although he has commuted the same crimes Eclipse has. Another example, most people hate eclispe because he killed lunar, but also Bloodmoon killed the whole entire daycare in suns body (the July 16th) and felt no guilt. While Eclipse felt guilt and became suicidal and depressed after realizing how much her hurt lunar and how he lost everything due to his anger and fury.

Another thing mentioned is people hated eclipse for getting mad when lunar touched him yet a lot of the time sun and moon don’t like physical touch from people- especially if they don’t trust them which eclipse didn’t trust lunar and in newer episodes moon lashed out at monty and spoke out of anger which is exactly what eclipse did his whole life yet he didn’t believe in saying sorry bc he knew it wouldn’t take back any pain he caused yet he apologized to lunar for lashing out and hitting him- and people forget that he did apologize I honestly feel bad for the guy
I don't hate Eclipse but I prefer Solar. But I did make an AU that followed the SAMS lore and Eclipse was severely traumatized.

As a wise man once said “heroes aren’t born, they’re made”. The same goes for the villains because villains aren’t born nor given the opportunity to make the choice to be a good person, almost of them are being guided through anger, unyielding bloodlust and dark thoughts, people telling them why they’re made, what they are born to do while others are forced into it and wanting to change but can’t.

@@StarlightSAMS yeah well he kinda also didn't want lunar ro come back, I know it was for a reason but he legit said to kill him again, + him being suicidal was half serious and half actually just being cocky, also nobody said moon was better at least I didn't (the old moon I mean) bc I hate him just as much, I still miss him though because he actually did care for Lunar and Sun meanwhile Eclipse did not
@@bub_ble-wo_lfmoon and sun aren’t any better if you dig deeper sun and moon, do the exact same things eclipse, does Just in different manners and they don’t have trauma from being abandoned and trust issues from being betrayed and they think more while eclipse just acts out of anger it’s canon everything eclipse did to Lunar was out of anger and jealousy, and that son is the one that gave eclipse that anger and jealousy etc if that makes sense
Something i'd like to say is that eclipse is very overlooked, when it comes to the hero if they were to do something bad everyone will say "It's because of the cause why they did it". But when it comes to the villain if they do something bad everyone will say "There the villain because of this and doing this makes them even worse". Everyone seems to forget the why? Why they did this

When I watched the show, I hated Eclipse for how he was the villain. That’s all the show ever showed him as, the villain. And he was a great villian, a very big threat. But the past two years have changed for me, and so has my perspective of Eclipse. He was technically abandoned by Moon, and all he was seen as was a virus, nothing more than the dirt under someone’s shoe, so he made sure he was more than that. Then once he got the star, he wasn’t sure what to do with it. He wanted to be seen as a threat, something to fear so Eclipse could feel good
Well in the end eclipse had no one when he realizes that if get want you want you have no one then he only had Soler

I don’t get how people can excuse Eclipse’s actions, can somebody explain?
It's less so the excusing of his actions and more the ability to sympathize and empathize with his situation, his actions are still pretty screwed up but like he had a reason for them, he wasn't just a evil guy doing it just for the power and the heck of it, he's more down to earth and all, sometimes it's easier to excuse his actions because the heros also did some pretty dirty things like killing, like with old Moons kill count, and new Moons killing of the fbi as well as Suns kills and solars kill, while Eclipse did these endeavors as well, you have to take into the account that every death is a death, no matter what side, and the fact that noone deserves death Truly in this show. Everyone's more so morally gray, which makes it easier to sympathize for the villian when they've shown effort and a shift that was promptly disregarded.
Eclipse at that point had already existed a really long time right before he died we got his origin story? He was moon and moon threw him away and abandoned him in sun eclipse got out and moon immediately got defensive against him and didn’t like him bc he’s the homicide code- yet as eclipse developed you can see he’s just lonely and wanted someone to pay attention to him and be kind and listen-

I was the one holding the gun last night... I pulled the trigger on my sister... She was not expecting it... I snapped right back at her... She was scared I could tell... I have *never* snapped at *anyone* because I am a "happy kid"... But she pushed it... And she knew she was pushing it... I was *done* but... I still have a lot more rage pent up... and I can hide it... But should I hide it... I was always blamed as a kid... N-now I blame myself... A-and everyone else was a hero... But I was... L-left b-behind... How am I meant to put this... I am three different people... Kind... quite... And dangerous... I don't know how much longer I can hide it...

Yeah reminder understand their story from the beginning but there is no point to understand the story from the beginning when they use their sadness and they're flipping bad lock something terrible it's not that bad to notice that bad luck is still going to happen because they're literally just using their trauma for bad things it's karma so there is no point to be sad over at zones desert verily what happens to them afterwards maybe after the whole thing they just grow as people or maybe not we don't know Amy trying to really understand what the f*** they're going on through their heads but there is no point because why would there be a point😢
