Some greats are elite at 2 of these, some very unique players are elite at 3, but Messi has excelled far beyond what anyone has done before. Most dribbles ever recorded, most assists in history of football, better goal to game ratio then even one of the best goal scores (Ronaldo). He also see’s passes I don’t see and I’m watching it on the telly. He’s the closest to real magic I have seen and has baffled and confused me more times then I can count. He is the peak footballer and has far surpassed anyone in my eyes in all history of football. This guy is a once in a lifetime player, there won’t be another Messi to come for many many years and I find it increasingly unlikely I will see any at his level in my life. We are experiencing history in the making, the goat.
