Unfortunate that you welded the intake shut without doing the kegger mods from utawesome performance. You can get those stock kegger intakes to flow just as good as the aftermarket ones if you cut out the runners, install a volume reduction plate and a port match. Super cheap.
If that cam is from Hughes engines and it comes with a spring kit I've got two of those sitting on my shelf right now so if you eat it I've got a backup for you
Pro Tip: One should always re-Torque the head at operating temperature. I like to use a space heater under the block to heat whole set up. Laser thermometer to 70 degrees should suffice for real world.
Never retorque head bolts at operating temperature. Read arp instructions there are designed to be torqued at room temp otherwise you will overstretch the stud and will not have the same clamping force
I have a repair plenum and a keggerator. Can I send em to you and have em welded up? Lol that's was some cool shit man. Never seen anyone weld the plenum to the intake. I went and spent money to have an Indy machined...
@@RacingRamFam I dont actually have it here yet. Its at PIE in Delaware being machined now. It's getting bolted to a short block built for boost they're building for me now.

Oh that’s pretty cool, also what are you doing for a map sensor? Or will the factory one work with the turbo. Sorry kinda new to it, and trying to do a 5.9 swapped bmw for the gambler 500
Just making sure, that’s what the guy told me to use, and 60 pounds injectors he said would be fine for my application, can’t wait to see this thing drive though.
@racingramfam I have a 5.2 magnum cyl 8 piston misfire. Can I just replace one piston? It looks to have melted I got the truck like this. Always stays running. Never gives me issues.
Hey Racing Ram fam please help!!!!! I have a 5.9 magnum, 46re trans. What trans are you running? Is it stock? I have a rebuilt 46re with a heavy duty rebuild kit and low stall torque convertor. Well the new trans wrapped my flex plate. The flex plate has no ring gear, the crank sensor reads off the flex plate. Are you using the stock flex plate? You don't need to do those many clicks if your torque wrench clicks once you're at that spec if you keep clicking your turning it passed that...
Now I hate to be that guy but once it clicks it doesn’t do anything it doesn’t hurt it and if it turns a little b4 it clicks again it wasn’t at spec.
Plenty of reasons to. Possible debris in the threads, maybe not really 90 degrees with the long torque wrench
Tiny anounts either way
