the back plate template is pure genius it is definitely something I am going to make and use moving forward!
a trick : you can watch series at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching all kinds of movies recently.
@Briggs Malcolm yea, have been watching on Flixzone} for since december myself :)
Thank you Pablo , I am new to guitar building but every time I watch one of your videos I am learning something from its a pleasure to watch , keep up the great work.
Thank you. I am really pleased you find my videos helpful.
Just in case you are interested I have a complete course available on www.onlineguitarmakingcourse.com
Bravo, maestro, another great video!
Thank you Pablo-the back template is a great idea

Thank you and I appreciate this so much.
You are welcome,
You might be interested in this course I have recently done, you can find it on www.onlineguitarmakingcourse.com
Hi Pablo, thanks for your great videos. You start this video with the linings already in place. However, the sides need to be already tapered to the right body size. How do you taper the sides? Did you mark the final taper sizes on a straight line and cut them before bending? How do you make sure that you end up with the right body size at the tail and heel since it's hard to bend at an exact location. Do you measure again the depths after the sides are in the solera?
Hi Juan.
I have a template that I use to trace the shape into the sides and cut them to shape before I bend them. It isn’t a straight line as the back isn’t flat the sides need to be shaped to accommodate the arch of the back.
On my course available on line I explain in detail how to do this and I provide plans with this template and other templates used in the course. You can find it on www.onlineguitarmakingcourse.com
@@redkitekk Thanks, I'm working with Nicholas so I'll pass the message.
hola Pablo , ,Where did you purchase the wide mini c clamp. /? I have not seen anything like it here in the usa I use small spring loaded clamps thank you
I found them on eBay some time ago... I think this is the newer version of them.

thanks pablo
Very good video, thank you.
Hello pablo,
I always watch your videos with interest and I have a question:
I read that you use a radius of 20 ft for the back, for all your models?
And yet another question, how do you build your dish?
Thank you for your videos. Gilles
Hi Gilles,
I actually use a 25 ft radius dish.
It isn't difficult to make your own dish, it is just time consuming and dusty....very dusty, so if you find where to buy them it is worth it. If you want yo make your own dish there is already a video from A lady that explains very well how it is done. I made mine using a very similar method as in her video

I hope you find it helpful.
Best wishes
Pablo
Thank you very much Pablo
PabloRequena t
Thank you for your video, Mr. Requena.
I can't see the bridge plate in your videos. Is it because you don't use the bridge plate? Am I missing something?
Thank you.
Antonello
Hi Antonello, In this case I didn't use a bridge plate, sometimes I do, each guitar is different.
I would love to take your class Pablo. Do you have them on a regular basis?
Harry Odum yes, I do, if you want info about it have a look at www.guitarmakingcourse.org
Here you will find dates, prices and all the info you need about it.
Thanks for the videos Sr Requena, can I detect a wee bit of Scottish in your accent?
Thanks for the great video. What is the radius that you use in your sanding board?
I use a 25 ft radius dish.
Hi, did you make the radius dish yourself? Or is it easier to buy one.
I made my own, but it surely is easier to buy them already made as it is a lot of work.
Have a look at this link, they sell 20 ft and 40ft dishes, see it they work for you.I use 25ft radius dishes

Ok, thank you.
