So let's say you asked friend to get something for you from the store, you may ask him "did you get it?" when he comes back. Which phrase and how to use it is depended on the situation. Generally, "am I making sense?" wouldn't be used unless you, yourself, are also unsure. For example, I am trying to understand a concept and I am not 100% sure my thought process makes sense. I may explain my thoughts to someone else and ask "am I making sense?" Essentially I am asking that person if my thoughts make sense. If you are trying to confirm whether others understand or not, you may say "does that/this make sense?"/ "Was that clear?" (If you aren't sure what you said was clear). You can say "do you understand?" as well. It just really depends on the tone. Like " DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" Is different from "do you understand?" XD Hope that makes sense!

If someone asks you if you want A or B (but you know your choice didn't really matter), you may reply with "It doesn't matter" or "it doesn't matter since the xxx will be making the decision" You may say "never mind" in situations where you repeatedly say the same thing but the other person have trouble hearing or understand. So in the end, you give up trying to explain and say "nevermind". I would say the best way to figure out/understand when and how to use each is to not trying to translate or associate fully with 中文 phrases. Instead, try to watch/listen more english to understand how it's used. :)
Wait minutes, we don't say thin or skinny(瘦皮猴) to a person, actually skinny is kinda insulting, "slim" (苗條) is appropriate. There is nothing wrong if you say "No, thank you, I am fine" if combined a smile at the same time. Also " I am good" is a common mistake, means " 我是個好人", my English colleague taught me, to reply a greeting to someone such as "how are you", you can say "thank you, I am very well".

Up主沒强調 ”適用場合“ (或不適用場合)。
不適用場合:
1. 正經場合。
2. 不確定對方能聽懂。
3. 對方家境好或教育程度高。
4. 對方總是一本正經。
5. 對方是您在乎的人。
6 .其他所有存疑的場合。
大約有60個常用的 ”cheap“ 的委婉表達,這 ”steal“ 忘了也罷。
所以cheap還是可以用嗎

以前上課ESL的時候老師常常會很客氣問我們有什麼反饋,怕講太快我們跟不上;亞洲人都非常認真沒有什麼聲音,當臺下一片安靜的時候老師看就會說:everybody is good ?Yes No maybe so ? 我學生們就會對看一下彼此露出微笑
