    Good stuff Mark, can I also add to this pick and angle, One turn mile with a sprinter dropping from MSW TO MD, I would have been a bull in a china shop getting to the window

    You seem like you know your stuff. I would just add one thing. It isn't a "class drop" if the horse didn't display at least some type of ability to be competitive at the previous class. Something had to have been shown in order to warrant the class drop meaning anything as far as a bet that day. Plus we also have to look at just how steep the class drop is and what this means to the stable if they don't have a good showing. I found that the more a stable had to lose by not having a good showing the better bet it was. When I say "lose" I mean the time, energy and money it takes to ready a horse for one big race.
