IN The fake motor does not have a self-resetting fuse, which reduces the cost of production, but removes the protective function against long-term voltage supply to the motor and the impossibility of twisting it.
@@BenutzernameXY Exactly 3 fknig AA or AAA battery can't make such pwoer to melt down even the fake motor also because the lack of resetting fuse it can be faster and stronger also can work with higher load.
The L motor has long been my go-to. Now that LEGO is no longer selling them, and BrickLink prices have gone through the roof, good to know that there's a viable third-party alternative. However, knock-off motors aren't always better. A friend gave me 2 fake buggy motors to test. Both were basically junk for several reasons, including misalignment between the output shaft and the pin holes on the case.
The problem with fake motors is the inconsistency in rpm. If i'm trying to work out the gearing for a Lego GBC, the fake one's have to be set up on a motor by motor basis. If I pick up a genuine Lego M, L or XL motor, I know the output speed before I even use one (using a standard 9v power functions battery pack).
No you don't it's a fking lie you can find test about them and they have rpm differences.... quite a bit well technically all of them designed to run at 375 rpm with no load when new but the differnces can be up to 15% even on test runs as this run at 335 which is way off fro mthe 375 rpm so you can't talk about consistency.....
The fake train motors do go faster than the Lego train motors. Unfortunately this makes any train too fast for any corners. I'm still working on a way to make it slower to avoid crashing every turn.
Well, you could just use gears. A smaller gear (from where the input rotation comes from) next to a larger one makes the rotation slower in the output.
I got a lego set with gears any motors, but the power box seems different to all the others and only goes on and off. You need a controller for clockwise and anti-clockwise.
I recomend you to buy a lego power functions batery box (number 8881). It doesn’t really matter it’s fake, the performance will be more or less the same.
Here's a big downgrade. The real motors are actually 12v motors, so you can push them as much as you want without them breaking. While the fake ones are probably still 9v motors and can break if pushed to much
@@techniclife3685 this also allows them to run faster with third party uhh electriconics ig. Since BuWizz gives off 11.2V power and the motors are fine. Maybe you should test it?
No problem suie a worm gear or gear it down so it will have more torque.... also L motors aren't good for torque buy a fake xl motor those are torque oriented...

That’s not important. You won’t need a fuse in such device. Greetings from a professional.

You forgot to mention the prices.
Yeah thats the big win for fake ones, original motors costs 50-70 wheres as fake ones starts from 10 and goes to $20.

Yeah. I figure that the brand motors are consistent across many units, while the knock-offs are "individually unique".

Du kannst auch eine stufenlose Fernsteuerung benutzen.
Vollgas auf den geraden und langsamer in den kurfen
If you have more ideas about tests for testing the motors tell me.
thanks for the experiment. It helps a lot.
You are right I just found out the circle thing in the cabel dosent have the lego logo
i never thought the fake wiuld win. Usually they are really low quality
Well some of them don't, like CaDa or Mould King motors
@@oldhorn420 yeah Ur right I got a CaDa car once. It's motor stopped working after 2 days
Which one are they and where did you buy the fake ones?
Fake ones in amazon, or also in aliexpress, and the real ones in the Lego store, but you can also search for real motors in other places
i use these fake motors in my GBCs with good results
Thanks, good luck

You should have tested the car with an axle straight connected to the motor. Worm gear basically makes every motor equally strong
You’r right
Equally strong yes... but the higher rpm makes it faster with the same torque so the fake is still win...
What brand is the fake, and where do I buy them?
Idk the brand, but you can buy them in amazon or in aliexpress

i got a m motor and a fake battery box, the motor operates in a 9v just like the original one (it was 3$)
What makes you think they are 9v motor?
Rather save 50 dollars instead of a small bit more power
some platforms provide L motors which's over current protection is disabled......i'm quite sure that this is illegal

hey where can you buy it?
In Amazon or maybe in Electrick bricks
Taobao
Whats it called
Neat!!
and the fake motors are cheaper but if it turned out bad.. you got what you paid for

I got he fake 1 for like 10 bucks and the real one cost like 65

I want buy fake motor and original remote control, will it connecting to fake motor?

no

Its an L motor not an M motor

Ok
Those are L motors
:( i cant buy fake motor
Why?
