i skip breakfast & have 1 for lunch and I have a normal dinner I stay under 20 carbs a day am down 40 lbs in 2 and half months its working me I have PCOS and its only thing I found to help me lose weight 💖

This is my “I don’t wanna cook” breakfast! I have paired it with a scrambled egg or bacon. My husband puts it in a blender with ice and enjoys it that way. I think of my net carbs as a wad of cash. Then I spend it as I want, just never go over. I agree about the prenatal vitamin taste. Although it doesn’t put me off, I immediately went “yes” when you brought that up. I goofed and repeated a flavor instead of including the Dark Chocolate Royale, my fav flavor. Thank you for reviewing!

Ive drank those for a long time, they're good! My favorite is the cookies and cream which I havent been able to find in awhile. That one literally tastes like milk after you dipped oreos on it
If you look up on atkins, the shake is said to be either as a meal or a snack.
They say its best when taken right before or after excercise. You dont need to replace a meal. A protein shake is to add protein to your diet. A meal replacement shake is to take the place of a meal. This is a protein shake.
If you want to replace, then that's a fine choice. But a shake can be done when you want.
I drank these shakes as meals for about two months. Not because I wanted to but for medical reasons. My favorite is the mocha latte!
I also have to drink it for medical purposes, but my meal directions say that it has to be 2 net carbs or less, and the Mocha Latte has a 4 net carb. 😩
Dude the milk chocolate one is soooo good. Sure there's a little bit of weird taste but that really does not overshadow the goodness of it :). This is definitely for people with busy schedules who don't really have time to cook. Thanks for the review.

I'm not big on ready to drink supplements. 1, I'd also rather eat my calories, 2, I can make a better protein shake with unsweetened almond milk, ice, and protein powder in my nutribullet
It's meant for people on a keto diet
I add it to my oats instead of milk with a banana and a slice of toast with PB,,keeps me going all day,,
My father is abt 70 and diabetic... we tried using these on his cereal instead of milk for more protein and less Susan. He likes it... I tried them... they aren’t bad... but I don’t need to eat low carb and prefer other drinks.

Gosh, you brought back a memory! I was just thinking (right as you said it) that I could not, for the life of me, get the prenatal vitamins down. That taste and the size of the vitamin. I just couldn't!

I freeze my protein shakes, cut off the top, thaw a bit and eat like I’ve cream 😂. I’m a vegetarian and want the protein but can’t handle the taste of a lot of them. For some reason eating them on a spoon makes me fill more satisfied and I enjoy the taste more.
I bet a lot of people will try this trick after reading this.
I do this with greek yogurt and I agree, it's delicious and is like eating icecream haha

If you're on a high protein diet, shakes can be a lifesaver. I can definitely relate to wanting to eat my calories vs drinking, but the amount of protein one needs to follow on diets like these, it can be tiring and even downright exhausting trying to eat so much solid protein in one day. I'm trying to eat more protein (25% protein out of 2600-2800 calories a day, I'm eating for three right now!) and slightly lower carbs, so I eat the majority of my carbs and have a protein shake at night. Orgain grassfed protein shakes - chocolate fudge flavor from Costco are my drink of choice. Orgain doesn't have an underlying weird taste as others I've tried, but it does contain some carbs unlike other shakes.
There are alot of delicious high protein foods and snacks though. Protein bars, eggs, beans, cottage cheese, protein baked goods, chicken, fish, any meat, some nuts, etc
@@valerie1864 Those are all great sources indeed! I think what I was trying to say is even for some folks who prefer eating their calories like myself, that when trying to follow a higher protein diet + increase calorie intake, a liquid source used as a supplement to other whole food or solid sources (as the ones you mentioned) can be extremely helpful. Since higher protein consumption can be very filling both physically - in taking up space and metabolically - digesting slower than carbs, a liquid supplement, for me, is helpful as it leaves more stomach/digestion space for other important whole foods like fruits/veggies. Though the brand of shake I use is Orgain which is actually just very concentrated milk. I would like to get to the point of eating enough whole food sources to avoid the shake (I limit to one a day) but it's nice to have it as a safety net when I can't meet my goal.
@@JackieRomain Yeah I get what you're saying. Another suggestion could be is higher calorie protein bars, like the ones in the 200-300 range if you're looking for something with less volume. (G2g bars, outright, fitcrunch etc) lots of them out there! Tiny-medium sized bars with a pack full of calories 😊 alot of bang for your buck you know lol
@@valerie1864 thank you so much for the suggestions. I've steered away from bars in the past because many contain too much or certain artificial sweeteners that can be overpowering or raise blood sugar, also I'm not a bar person so much, but its good to have a variety of different quick, on the go options. I will check out the ones you mentioned. 👍
What in these shakes that raises the heart rate other than caffeine? I drink a lot of caffeine as it is and it barely affects me at all so there's got to be something else in it.

I always feel they have an after taste. Exactly what Kevin has said.. that’s vanilla to me. Yes Tami a vitamin flavor that’s it. It turns me off. Hit the nail on the head.
Maybe I’ll try the chocolate but I rather eat also. I would have that and then go and eat solid food. Lol.

So much misconceptions in this video. Lady, you can eat, this is not a meal replacement.
I am doing keto but not to lose weight yet... just adjusting to the macros etc... but when I am ready to lose the weight I will use the shakes for 2 meals and eat a nice dinner...

The chocolate one tastes like melted ice cream.
To me it has a powdered milk taste but it is ok.
Yeah they’re good I don’t count anything I just know my body. Wanna lose weight or cut weight for an event it takes discipline and these might help.
We never have enjoyed drinking our calories. We would much rather eat.

Noticed it contains Sucralose as a sweetener. I would rather have real sugar because of the health risks of Sucralose.
