Bob Marley the great musician of our time. May his soul rest in peace, Amen
1960s-1980❤😮
One of the most insightful & soul full records of all time. For years it was my go to album on Sundays after church. It is again.
Amen.im hearing this today (sunday) while drinking a beer
"there will never be no love at all" reminds me of genesis 18:17-33 , when god basically explains to abraham that he would spare sodom of his wrath if only a few righteous people remained
ONE OF THE GREATEST ALBUMS EVER
really? how do you figure? im as big of a fan as there is but i go elsewhere for the live versions off this album. i would rank this album second to last in the wailers albums.
One of the WAILERS BEST ALBUM TIMELESS ORIGINAL WAILERS NO OTHER REGGAE BAND CAN TOUCH THEM

the greatest Bob Marley/Wailers album? The one you're listening to.
The Wailers did never a bad song or album..everything they touched is gold 😁💪👊💚💛❤️
Sounds like you're still holdin on to some resentment
@@ianweston3845 yes because it hurt my heart a lot.... 😒
I bought this album in 1976 I’m now almost 66❤
Do ya still have it?
Это последний альбом, записанный в составе Марли-Тош-Уэйлер. Питер Тош и Банни Уэйлер покидают коллектив и начинают сольную карьеру, а The Wailers меняют название на Bob Marley & The Wailers.
In my opinion simply lbest and rootsy album for the WAILERS before move the rock scene, Bunny Peter and Bob were one group
Blessed young men speaking for all of us. Yes me fiends... pass it on.
Feel the king delive à message❤
Un pure chef d'œuvre
Aucun doubte👍

One of the very great bob marley and the wailers album of all time with the very amazing classic line up such as peter tosh and bunny wailer..burnin' and lootin' is my favourite bob marley and the wailers song of all time..love reggae sound in this album,1973,very amazing sound..
It appears Jamaica was held spellbound by Bob Marley's " hackened" narrative on this track.
take another look at the album cover....this is a WAILERS album. Different time period, different band.

This album timeless and pertains to our times more now than ever it's 2022!
It's just as relevant in any other time period
Reggae Roots

Thank you sultan.
This album is considered by many critics to be Reggae music's flagship album and is even regarded by Marley's biographer Timothy White in the book "Catch a Fire: The life of Bob Marley" (1984) to be the Reggae music equivalent to the Beatles' all-time Rock/Pop masterpiece "Sergeant Pepper's Lonely hearts Club Band album" (1967)
These are from the original wailing wailers, bob was only given the credit cause of his color.
@@chrisblake1894 Oh That's absolute hateful rubbish. None of the others wailers publicly or otherwise disputed this. The only true songwriting collaboration was Get up Stand up by Bob and Tosh and except perhaps Small Axe originally released as a single in 72 with sources citing Lee perry as writing the music and Bob writing the lyrics. Bunny Wailer had 2: Hallelujah Time and Pass it On. Tosh had One foundation and Rastaman Chant was a traditional Rasta hymn credited to the 3. Every knows the Wailers like many other bands wrote much of their material separately despite being a group.
Gents, both of you have comments that are worthwhile giving much thought to. Either way, this album truly is a gift to us as humanity. And yes, of course Bob was half black and half white. But his and the roots of The Wailers were all intertwined. All of our roots are intertwined, other than those of the elite scum. Feel it, brothers. Ayrie, man
@@lawrencenjawe9875 actually, the year after this album came out, the Wailers broke up and Bob and Bunny were pretty salty about Blackwell giving Bob all the glory, and Bob being all too willing to accept it all.
Peter despised Blackwell, and held a grudge against Bob until his dying day.
@@lawrencenjawe9875 in fact, if "Burnin" was the reggae equivalent of "Sgt Pepper," Blackwell was the Wailers' equivalent of Yoko lol.
I love this song 💜💜💜💕💕💕💕
Which one? This is an album

Life is benififal
Jah выведет нас из Вавилона...
ye 2022. d9int give up!!!!!!!!!!!xxx.bmw.
I listen to Survival when I'm trying to stay alive, and Burnin when I'm tired of conforming to 2020s mentality
So what do ya do that puts your life in danger? And what do ya mean by 2020s mentality?
E roots
Hum
Let me tell you this...
Oh well
It's not MArley, but Peter Tosh who leads this music
In my book Bob Marley's the leader. He already had 200 smash hits written before the Wailers became famous. He played them all for a big label guy before they were signed. This guy was totally flabbergasted, he said Bob played him around 200 smash hits while still unknown for the world outside Jamaica.. Those were his words, I read this in an interview with I think it was Chris Black from Island records. Peter Tosh was famous on the island and family for his voice, but as far as I can see he didn't write too much Wailer songs, and maybe he did co write some. Marley fits the Wailers as a leader, also because of his work ethic, strength and love. Tosh wasn't a friendly guy, he was too jealous and small minded if you ask me, always fighting and bickering, his ego was much too big. Your thoughts and deeds makes a person who he is, that's also why Bob made it so big, he was tough, bighearted, he worked very hard, and had a whole lot of talent!
They were a team . Who cares .@@baronsaturday9560
EAT DONUTS 🍩 BURN YOUR OVEN
Classic kinky
their greatest album. After this IMO he became too pop oriented, lost a bit of an edge. Bunny Bob and Tosh is where it was
There was still the Rootsy "Natty Dread" album follow up the following year ...1974
I wouldn't say that. If you look at the topic of the songs of the albums after Natty Dread they are way more political and against the system than Burnin'. Listen to the songs and see the lyrics... Yes he added a rock guitarist but the future albums are beautiful too. They are more international in the sound, but not any compromission with the lyrics (and I would say there were not compromission with the music too, just a different era and slighlty more rock sometimes)
Bob Marley had to reinvent the Wailers circa the I Threes after Bunny n Peter faltered. Hence Natty Dread and the acceptance of Roots Rock Reggae Internationally. Long Live the Wailing Wailers . Berhane Selassie aka Bob Marley lives eternally.
😁😁😁 Long time since I last read that name..Berhane. However I've always thought it was BERHAZE (with a..... Z)
The nerve to say Bunny and Peter faltered. There was no attitude or energy in the sound of the instruments after Bunny and Peter left because that was all PETER. Bob tried with Survival for the Wailers sound but it still was not completely there.
@@cruciancruzangirl05 Who know knows and who don't......well. A suh it guh.
Great band! terrible recording ! Shame original Wailers albums were poorly recorded
That's because you don't understand African music. It's the drums that make this song. You have to be silent sometimes and just listen.
