What you have accomplished in such a short time has me rethinking taking the hit on a quick flip to get my hand back on a MT. Love the content. Love the painful details!! You are awesome!!

currently have one on my car as i bought it that way. its nice but i can say having driven a stock corolla 6mt. i prefer the stock shifter. im currently in the process of getting the stock shifter in the car.

Very much appreciate your time and effort on these videos.I have the under the hood shifter bushings ready to go in right now. And I want to do that medium solid rear mount before doing the shifter I think.

Btw, would be awesome to have a pov drive review of the shifter and some insight on all the other mods you've done. Like if the transmission mount actually feels different and if all the solid mount changes really make things noisier/vibrate more or its relatively the same. But vid was perfect, and not allot of working room to set up the camera and work comfortably at the same time. So feel like you did the best with what you had to work with lol. Keep on killin it man 🤙🏼
I installed the solid bushings. Feels much better. I was wondering. Can I just take out the four bolts lift that up a it and change those out without disassembling the shifter? I am going to install the shifter later. They raised the price to 200.00 on that by the way. I will get that later. Thanks.

I have a question before I install: Have you had any issues with going into reverse or going into 5th? Example, the linkages or bottom of the shift lever hitting the side of the shift housing. Have you had to make any modifications to make it work? Cheers 🍻
Hey, I'm almost finished installing... And I figured out I can't go into reverse, as the bottom (the right pulley coming from the transmission) is hitting the side of the plastic near the screw at the bottom right. Any help?? Please lol I need figure this out as soon as I can
I have the 2023 xse corolla hatcback the problem toyota they are not going to make manual trans again in the corolla's and i buy one with the cvt trans ,the car is amazing but let me ask you can i make some mods for this type of car with a cvt or not , and if i could what type of mods i can do please can someone tell me thanks .
I just did this on my 21, and it works but when I shift 1 - 2 it locks so I have to skip to 3 is there anyone who can help? When it’s in 6 it’s loose also
Just did the install this weekend. Kept your video handy. It took me way longer but everything went perfect. I’m just anal lol. Really gives a sporty feel. If you do a video on either cutting down the shifter hood or replacing with a smaller one I’d watch that. Thanks again for this video.

it wouldnt matter if i didnt swap out the rubber bushing for the thick metal ones that hold the big plastic assembly would it?

No, luckily I didn’t have any issues. Everything went smoothly and works as it should.

This car was manual to begin with, so it has remained manual after the install

You could do basic mods like intake and exhaust and some tunes for these cars even with the cvt models

You could change the knob and the paddle shifters I know but apart from that theres not anything else to change for performance or enjoyment
