America has been introduced to the dark side of football. When city centre pubs in English cities are told to keep doors locked until 8pm (3hrs after games finished) because of violent rivalries then this is not surprising.
Argentina has played 30 Copa America finals, yet Argentine fans never tried to enter without tickets or through the air ducts. I've been to Arsenal vs Man U. at Old Trafford, then years later Arsenal vs Tottenham, at the Emirates and never saw anything like this. The fierce London Darby with no love lost between rival fans. Also they deal with it Swiftly as Bayern fans are not allowed at the Emirates stadium.
@@beebilbo59 not many means less than 50%. Even in this game there were probhably only a few % responsible for what we saw in the video.
I'm still wondering who wastes their money to watch soccer anyway. It's about as exciting as watching darts.
0 class on those fans. So sad
you can't complain about 90 minutes plus another 30 minutes of soccer match being too long when our local sports are ~ 4 hours long.
Let’s be clear, it was not the Argentina fans, we were at that stadium when we played Peru, no incidents. Remember the Uruguay vs Colombia incidents, ask yourself: what’s the common denominator?
That would sound believable… only there’s a ton of videos that clearly show Argentina fans doing the same thing. You guys are notoriously fanatics and have had a ton of incidents in the past. Quit spinning a false narrative!

Have the National Guard at all stadiums for the World Cup
This is one of the many reasons why nobody in America likes soccer. Besides the fact that it’s boring to watch and players flop around acting like they are hurt (which is embarrassing)…but the fans use the game as an excuse to act like lunatics. Even Raiders fans are more tolerable than this.
And you wonder why we want the border closed😂
? USA doesn't have a border with either Colombia or Argentina.
I attended World Baseball Classic and Serie del Caribe (Caribbean Series) games in Miami where the atmosphere was electric and the fan intensity was off the charts. However, fans did not behave this way. This was just unreal.

People have lost respect and discipline all over.
You should look up what happened at soccer games in the 80s, Hillsborough was similiar for example with people trying to get in without tickets. It's got nothing to do with people being crazier than in the past, it has happened before, they could have been prepared for it.

The whole world watches football (not american handegg), you shouldn't insult everyone who isn't from the USA. Greetings from Germany.
@@shiseiomukae6608 Just calling it like I see it. The US should stop hosting international soccer events.
@@dg1019 The hosts should keep the fans safe and the hooligans out, that's where they faild everyone involved. Not taking a final between Argentinia and Colombia serious enough is honestly stupid, that's one of the few biggest football games in the world. Thanks to FIFA that probably won't happen in the WC 26. To be honest, I would rather go to Brazil or Colombia or Argentinia with my family, then to the USA to watch it. Would be much cheaper and probably much safer. But well, you've got a ton of football fans in the USA and they deserve a WC in their country, too. Basically, if you keep the fans safe and busy, it's the biggest, most fun party you can ever have. I really love to have the world as guests in Germany, the EM was petty nice this year, even though I think the 2006 summerdream was better - mostly because of the weather.
@@shiseiomukae6608 If soccer fans can't behave and not destroy our stadiums then the US should cancel the WC. Should not be on us to make people act like they should. Soccer is still not very big here and probably never will be. There is honestly zero point in having it here.
@@dg1019Yeah, that's not working, the contract is already signed with FIFA, the USA wanted it and it got some of it. Football is so much bigger than handegg, the USA has to step up to the challenge, when the world comes to visit - every TV in the whole world will show what's going on, even North Korea had public viewings, that time they participated. The only ray of light there is, FIFA knows how to handle huge football events and they will be in charge, so a disaster like the COPA Final shouldn't happen. Known hooligans won't be able to travel to WM countries and security will be much better, as well as the entrance controlls. Good luck USA, hosting some of the worlds biggest party.
Copa America is a very ghetto tournament. Compare it to the Euros this year, it’s like watching football being played in a whole different world
