Incredible-a P bass with the partially chrome pickguard of a J bass. Such innovation!

Well the devil is in the details ;-) maybe innovation is the wrong word for it but there is for sure tweaks that has improved his design

I want to see something really different from these innovators - like a neckthrough P bass…let’s try that

I think that is too short of a scale length for that low B to really respond properly. I want to see a 34 scale length, neck through, P bass.

It's a 34'5" scale and Strings anchored halfway in the body through the bridge🤷‍♂️

What is that cycling hum in the background it is so bad. Is it the bass or something else?

It could be the bass because 5 string P bass pickups usually arent hum cancelling unlike the 4 string counterpart

It's a sustaining drone note to lend context to the melody he's playing. A background drone note is also very helpful for learning good intonation on a fretless bass.
