I normally make the lid something like the base, but just a little over the edge, then I would put a flange on the interior- probably a thrown flange- that fits within the piece.
When you're stretching the bottom slab into an oval, does the original width/diameter narrow at all as you elongate it? Or does it tend to hold the same width? Wondering if I should throw it any wider than the wall to account for that. Hope my question makes sense, thank you!!
That's a great question!!! I would say generally, it stays about the same width. I usually make it a smidge larger and trim away the excess, so when I do that it doesn't truly matter!!
“Make your craftsmanship intentional” I need a poster on this😆Thanks for sharing!❤
Ohhhhhhh, Gosh- I need that too!!! 😂
I love this concept of bottomless cylinders! Thank you for showing us another amazing idea!
The QR code on the slip bottles is such a clever idea!
Thanks!!! I have QR codes all over to help kids help themselves!!
What a great idea!
Great idea! And how would you do a lid?

Vous ne faites jamais de petits colombins à l'intérieur et à l'extérieur pour renforcer la soudure du fond des plats ?
