Great visual for tying this knot! Very easy to see with the light colored rope on the dark background. I usually do all the looping on my forearm when I tie this one, but I'm going to try on my hand as it seems just a good and probably a little faster. Thanks for making this.
This knot works for me. Wanted to make 'pull handle' for my windows instead of using the actual handles which can eventually be torn off the wooden frame through constant use. I screwed in an eye screw and threaded the rope through the eye and did the knot. Thank you.
Can anyone comment please, whether this knot is superior or inferior, to the alpine butterfly knot? Are there any situations in which this knot or the AB knot would be preferred? Thanks in advance :)
