No imagine a built 10 speed auto geared to do 50-180 roll ons. He definitely needs a bigger and sticker tire. Be care though When you get into the 1600-180-0 WHP range even with a good tire it can get squirrely at 160mph. Awesome race. Only seen a handful of cars on here as quick as that.

Before I got my GT 500 I had a set up like that but with a 10 speed auto. A properly sorted 5.0 is a very very hard car to beat. That fourth gear pull on that thing is nasty
@@Shiftnlift the TwinTurbo car was a great car, but I always had to run e54 fuel because I didn’t have any E 85 anywhere close by. It was super fast, but not nearly as fun to drive as the Shelby. The DCT in the Gt500 is pure magic. I get so much more love in the GT500 than I did in the TwinTurbo car. For me, it’s not all about having the fastest car, it’s about how the car makes you feel. Others are different, but pound for pound the Shelby is a much better vehicle.
Damn really? Its pretty common with twin turbo cars and newer tunes. My red sport had boost by gear. Peaked in 3rd and 4th but was only a few psi over stock on 1st and 2nd

Sick turbo-kits and sounds. Both cars are far faster than the gopro speedo accounts for. The 2nd to 3rd shift was at 92mph. and the 3rd to 4th was at 130. 2:46 & 3:10 was Rev limiter in 4th at 174 mph.
The difference of 300 hp, an aftermarket Transmission and a built motor. No one in their right mind should've thought the M3 had much of a chance at all.
To be fair, that’s such a long pull for a potential random street race lol In the last race M3 had car lengths on the stang for a solid 10 seconds and could have easily left off for the W. With all the odds against him he did extremely well

Cudos to that 5.0 owner. To stay manual and to do the Tremec swap was such a legit move. That stock chinese trans has been keeping me away from 5.0's. But this car has the PERFECT RECIPE.
No tire in the world is going to get him 1.4 secs faster 60-130 LOL, he wasn't spinning even. Anti-lag setup or nitrous spooling is what it needs to get that kind of a drop in time, his turbos are massive for that down low shit
@@QuickF90 do you know what kind of power is required to pull your 60-130 down 1.4 seconds? Easily over 200 wheel HP for that kind of jump. I run 4's 60-130 and I know what it took in mods to get from high 5's to where I am now and it was about 300 whp.
I can see why he went with T-56M with this TT build with MT-82s history but one thing I like about MT-82 is only one OD, 5th is 1.00/1 instead of 4th in T56, for N/A builds around 500whp they work well if you fix the issues.
@@cantbsdave I just don’t understand why a high performance vehicle needs 2 overdrive gears, it can be fixed with 3.90-4.30 gears but shouldn’t have to change the differential to get optimal performance from a Corvette or Camaro

Once that mustang guy learns his setup and drives it harder it'll be a force to be reckoned with. A faster car than the m3 is going to give him a lot of trouble as it'll be able to get ahead from the hit pretty far. It takes a ton of extra power to overcome someone top end.
