i agree with most of them but the one that got me is the not talking. sorry you’re heavy hand is going in and out of my skin while i sit like a rock but don’t have anybody else to talk to and my phone got boring or is dying after 8 hours
I'm going for a sleeve soon. I was worried about pissing off my artist as I've changed things a couple times during the design phase. But I wouldn't even think about doing any of this stuff so I think I'm good.
My tattoo artist is amazing Air Force sergeant and just humble, I was afraid of the stereotype of all artists being asshats but he definitely was not part of that stereotype. For my first tattoo I got my entire left arm sleeved up so he explained everything he was doing and I greatly appreciated it ❤
one thing i’ve noticed about tattoo artists especially those who go to conventions and have a following are the biggest douchebags. I’m glad my artist isn’t a bag of shit like these guys
How are these guys douchebags lol? Becuase they’re stating certain things that they don’t like that clients do? I’m sure if you take any profession and ask them what they don’t like about their job theyll give you a whole list of things
I was late one time when I drove out of town to get work and my artist ended up canceling the appt. Totally understood, but maaan was that trip a total L (all my fault). Still love my artist tho🫶🏼
@@justinkd I was about an hour late.. communicated an everything but my guy ended up going home for the day.. my ass had to drive back home defeated🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️
I just got a tattoo today and my tattooist told me to wear cling film for 24-7 for the first 7 days apart from when I clean it twice a day. Does this doing right
@@justinkd yes I told him this and last night I kept it on and woke up with loads of ink everywhere. Sweaty aswell. But he said the tattoo can still breathe with cling wrap on. But I’ve took it of now. So It’s best to just use cling film of a night while in bed
A lot of them had tattoos but weren’t visible. And even then, I think it’s alittle stereotypical for an artist to “have tattoos” as long as they’re good at what they do, that doesn’t matter all that much
I’m a tattooer, don’t have an visible tattoos if I’m wear pants and a T-shirt. But I’ve sat for a 10hr rib piece, 20hrs on back of the leg and knee ditch, have most of a leg sleeve done, a large part of a back piece and both inner biceps. All of those medium to xl pieces. I’ve also got a couple smaller shitty ones. If I was walking down the street I wouldn’t look like I had any tattoos, at the beach I’m decently tattooed most of them the most painful areas. There are also a lot of tattooers that only have forearms and necks tattooed, but with a tshirt on look like they own a body suite. My point is don’t be quick to assume.
don’t be the elitist tattoo artist who judges their clients for things that any normal person would do
Well hopefully after watching this video many will try their best to keep movements down to a minimum or also shower / be clean before a tattoo
Many tattoo artist are assholes and complain too much.
Some yes, but all these are great points in what a client should watch out for

Name of 3:50 min tattooer?
In all sincerity, some artists are extremely heavy handed but don’t want to admit it and it not only hurts more but can cause scarring..just sayin
Should I make a video on asking clients what annoys them that artists do?!
@@justinkd yes because without platforms like yours we as the customer don’t have a voice
So use ointment for first 2/3 days then moisturiser after That till tattoo is fully healed
Had a tattoo appointment yesterday😂😅
Did you shower or move 😂😉

No they don’t. Just becuase they’re a tattoo artists doesn’t mean anything about them having tattoos
Brother u need to get tatted by Ossian. Gun
I might but also I don’t know still. His style might collide a little to much with my darker tattoos
all this sounds like a personal problem. go away now
All this sounds like something clients should take into consideration. Maybe you’re the problem and your artist hates you
