I mean she came out of the blue, her banner is on the last patch of Fontaine so people are busy saving, overshadowed by Natlan, and her kit is burning related? Unfortunately a very bad time to come out if she came with chiori she would've had more hype
It's the first X.8 version character, usually it's a Rerun banner. And I mean, Fontaine is the PEAK of Genshin, Furina became games new mascot and all. Now they have to work their assess out cuz if they make Natlan Worse the game dies instantly. We got at least 2 versions to hang on till the end.
@@fandango_boi exactly! Why release a character in version X.8 and yeah if Natlan flops the entire game flops and plus there's already problems like whitewashing and Pokemon but I'm guessing the story will save it after all hoyo's writing has gotten a lot better

We've been rumored about x.9 version, so MAYBE Natlan will be the first region with x.9 version. It is only a Suggestion, not a fact, maybe Emilie will be one and only x.8 release like Chronicle Banner, because they sucked with it badly. I wouldn't excpect a lot after Fontaine, because like in HSR after Penacony arc there followed Lofu act again, which doesn't look like a Banger. Hoyo probably won't do a Banger after Banger, so lower you expectations. BUT we could actually get a WAR theme in Natlan after 5.2, cuz Mavuika will be released in 5.3, so there's a room for actual War Part. About Pokemon Tournament it's a mislead so we'd not hype before the actual event. I mean, we could see natlan at Peace for 5.0-5.1 and from 5.2-5.3 we engage in War with all 6 tribes and Fatui. 5.4 is Liue filler and 5.5.-5.7 are empty banners and 5.8 is Summer Event. If 5.9 will happen it'll be just a rerun banner with nothing special in it, maybe specifically some old event rerun and Chronicle Banners for that specific kind of version. Anyway after 5.x we'll get triple banners, it's inevitable. And now for the MOST improtant topic. Ya'll use the term WHITEWASHING wrong! It's STUPID how ya'll on Twitter go crazy calling out Hoyo for WHITEWASHING the characters that were NEVER announced neither CLAIMED to be BLACK! Whitewashing is a term that means Making originally BLACK character into White due racism. In current situation such thing doesn't EXIST because there were no BLACK characters to begin with. So ya'll doing BLACKWASHING and CANCELING for no fair reason, YOU cry about things you were never promised. But Hear me out: I do agree that Hoyo should've made way more dark and even BLACK skinned characters, and make them fairly GREAT like others despite Chinese Market. They made lots of low-tier characters with dead fanbases: Nilou, Chiori, Emelie, Yoimiya, Eula and anybody else who got less than 1k on R34. People don't like them, people don't care. They got low fanbase and if you are one of their Fans I'm sorry Hoyo did them Dirty, cuz they just used them as Quota filler and nothing more. And if Eula is just an Early Character and YOimiya is just unlucky to be skipped cuz of Raiden, Idk what to say about other characters. They are just not interesting. Tbh I dislike Ayaka cuz she's boring typical Wifu, she lacks everything to care about here more than "Oh look! Best Cryo DPS with no character at all and funny DMC reference. Also She's Ayato's sister.". That's just Hoyo doing Dirty. Tho Cyno and Dehya got it bad too. Cyno can be fine if you her signature and Baizhu(he is essential to play Cyno right), Idk what to say about Dehya. She was made into Standard character, surprisingly that happened only during Sumeru and Twice lol(Tighnary is also Standard), and she's no better than Diluc.
