Because we base our style on brute strength whereas the Kiwis learn to play the ball and focus on passing in order to score. Our style works for kids but when you reach adulthood you can easily outsmart those who just put their heads down and bulldoze forward. Our style is too predictable...

What they do better is running and passing the ball, whereas we do 6-12 phases of put your head down and power forward, losing the ball via turnover most of the time. We need some of their coaches, that's just my opinion though. But you are right it's more complicated but it's a start.
