- here it is! the actual level, i had a lot of fun working on this, can't wait to get to act 2!
note: keep in mind, i wrote this song as an experienced player in mind because if you know what you're doing you'll end act 1 under 2 minutes and probably won't have to hear Angel Island's theme loop at least 2 times. for beginners, this would be the most chilling entrance to a zone in a classic Sonic game, making you feel like you need to hurry up.
but from that point, it's a walk in the park and you'll get to hear longer songs maybe up to 2 and a half minutes long.

The OST so far is honestly pretty dang good, feels incredibly heavy, at times empty and lots of buzzy instruments going on and i kind of love it
It doesn't feel like the music you'd hear in a Sonic game at all, but that's EXACTLY what makes it shine in my opinion. It feels so dang off yet it works so well for what it aims to do, it sounds so uncanny and bizarre and it perfectly captures EXE's off-putting facade and the feeling something is so wrong, really looking forward for the rest of the OST if the ones out are this solid and catchy Keep up the great work! ✨✨✨
(Also my favs have to be either the menu or Knuckles' theme, really dang cool and have listened to em quite a bit already LOL)

Is it’s gonna be a real mod,or a Rom hack?
Sadly they have no plans for making it a real mod or rom hack.
i already have a Faker mod out, it's a bit outdated compared to how i would work on his sprites today but it's what we got rn. also yeah, i don't plan on making this a mod, but somebody else could though and i encourage this idea
