Rivera valued having a long term plan on offense from day one instead of rolling the dice on KOC in a contract year.
I'm glad KOC is gone. His favorite play was get in the middle of the field for a field goal. Smh

If the Redskins get Chase Young the defensive front will be great. Then add Ruben Foster in the mix. We will definitely hit the QB this season and hopefully have more TFL.
Hope to see new DB's & OL taken in the draft. Maybe Scott Turner will give Cam Sims a chance for being on the roster from the practice squad. I thought he did excellent during the preseason games. KOC was stupid to cut him
His favorite play was running a dagger concept to the strong side and having a variation of different complementary situational routes on the weak side (typically for McLaurin to run down the field on).

I definitely think they should at least already have someone in mind that gives some input. Word is Rivera might try to bring in current Panthers GM Marty Hurney to fill the same role with us.
I personally would like Rick Smith to be President if they're going with someone outside of the organization to replace Bruce.

I think so as well...what are your thoughts on McCarthy? I was surprised Jerry took so long to get rid of Garrett...he gave that man more respect than he did Landry.
@@HTTR I am fine with McCarthy, only coach with a better record is Bellicheck. I've seen a lot of his former players giving him kudos for the hire in Dallas, so that says alot to me. I think Jerry has maybe changed his tune, he let him pick his own staff for one, I am hopeful he let's him run the team like it needs to be and let's Stephen take over more of the GM role.
Actually Jerry would’ve fired Garrett sooner but they were stuck in a snowstorm leaving Colorado and had to stay the night, which led to Jerry postponing the firing
First of all I don't understand why people are mad Rivera is hiring his old coaches from Carolina, think about this Redskins fans... "Continuity"- let's not forget the Panthers was one of the teams who were supposed to be contenders every season, so if we don't have to completely reboot of that machine but simply do a hard reset we might actually be able to get to the playoffs faster than these other teams🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️

I have...I'm going to upload something either tomorrow or Friday about the rules and the Defenders. The kickoffs sounded odd, but I honestly need to look back over some of the other rules. I'm excited to see what our guys will bring and if the league is better this time around.
