you should check out 'wish you were here' heres the thing tho . i dont mean the song ,im talking the entire album! its dedicated to syd barret founding member of floyd who ended up perma-fried off LSD, and it tells of the presure and shadyness of music industry , the loss of a band member and dear friend. tho much of the album is instrumental iy conveys a full range of emotion with every note .and the only way to experience the magnitude of any one song is by listening to the entire album.!interesting side note, the songs Shine on You crazy Diamond....SYD!
Great choice using Roger Waters to sing the son's part and David Gilmour to sing the mom's part. David has such a soft soothing voice like a mom would have, Roger has a naturally shaky kind of voice great as the insecure son.
