ਟੂਟੀ ਗਾਢਨਹਾਰ ਗੁੋਪਾਲ ॥
Ttoottee Gaadtanehaar Guopaal ||
The world -cherisher is the Mender of the broken.
ਸਰਬ ਜੀਆ ਆਪੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲ ॥
Sarab Jeeaa Aapae Prathipaal ||
He Himself cherishes all the sentient beings.
ਸਗਲ ਕੀ ਚਿੰਤਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਨ ਮਾਹਿ ॥
Sagal Kee Chinthaa Jis Man Maahi ||
Within whose mind is the anxiety of all,
ਤਿਸ ਤੇ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਕੋਈ ਨਾਹਿ ॥
This Thae Birathhaa Koee Naahi ||
none returns empty-handed from Him.
ਰੇ ਮਨ ਮੇਰੇ ਸਦਾ ਹਰਿ ਜਾਪਿ ॥
Rae Man Maerae Sadhaa Har Jaap ||
O my soul, ever meditate thou on the Lord.
ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪੇ ਆਪਿ ॥
Abinaasee Prabh Aapae Aap ||
The Imperishable Lord is all-in-all.
ਆਪਨ ਕੀਆ ਕਛੂ ਨ ਹੋਇ ॥
Aapan Keeaa Kashhoo N Hoe ||
By mortal's own doing nothing can be done,
ਜੇ ਸਉ ਪ੍ਰਾਨੀ ਲੋਚੈ ਕੋਇ ॥
Jae So Praanee Lochai Koe ||
even though he may desire it hundreds of times.
ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਤੇਰੈ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਾਮ ॥
This Bin Naahee Thaerai Kishh Kaam ||
Without Him, nothing is of any avail unto thee.
ਗਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਪਿ ਏਕ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ॥੧॥
Gath Naanak Jap Eaek Har Naam ||1||
Salvation is attained by repeating the Name of God alone, O Nanak.
