- Brazil nuts are actually edible seeds from the Brazil nut tree, and they can be eaten raw or blanched. The nuts grow inside a round, coconut-like shell, in orange-like segments that, when split open, reveal about 12-20 Brazil nuts.

Nice videos. Main producers worldwide are Bolivia and Peru. Brasil is quite far from them. This product has 100x Selenium than an almond. Highly recommend it!
Peru is but 10%, Bolivia 60%, rest Brasilia.

Never seen n even eaten this nuts before in Indonesia, love to taste some.Maybe it will grow in our country cos it almost has the same climate.
Only grows in certain Amazon forests I think due to pollinators.
Several trees were growing in a kuala lumpur area in malaysia.. miserable idiots chopped them down...

I love Brazil nuts. Didn't know how they grew. Learned recently that these nuts will not lower a man's T. Brazil and macadamia nuts are good for men. All other nuts have estrogen in them.
good little doco, ty. I does make me a little sick though seeing that we are charged so much for the nuts yet it is the middle man getting rich and the villager is still finding it hard to scrape two coins together.
I love eating these nuts!! They are one of my favorite nuts
They tried to farm this tree but found they couldn't because of the way it was pollinated. So they have to just find them in the jungle like they are doing here

This looks like a nut we call it thaithi, but the nut shape is lil bit different, here in my place the nut outer cover and the shell are very bitter, if you break it you gets all the bitter taste in your mouth, even if you break it by axe or machete but its delicious, tasty and mouth watering even if you could smell its aroma 😀😊
well even though it's quite expensive most people would have tasted this. it's a similar taste like peccan nuts.though it's very high in protein omega 3,you just won't eat as much as you would almonds and cashew.
