RIP Seymour...I was seriously surprised to find myself almost at tears while watching a cartoon TV show - known for it's comedy. It was one of those things that you just do not expect and then it hits you. For that this song and the episode is burned to my mind. Love the song.

@Korozzz I think it's pitiful, too....I heard the song first because I love music of the era, then I tracked down the movie that it came from.....what a sad, yet beautiful movie! I think what's most revolting is that some producer thought it'd be OK to hitch this song to a dog.... On a side note, as a violinist myself, I appreciate just how skillful she is, and she plays this exactly as I would if I had her skills. Bravo!

Isn't it funny that it is most likely Seymour from Futurama that made this song famous again. Under every version of this song, there is at least a few comments regarding Seymour waiting for Fry. We love the song and we all love Seymour too. That's all that matters.
