- The swedish reporter Fredrik Belfrage speaks with ABBA after a show in Birmingham. Concert-goers were asked for their comments, along with New Musical Express journalist Bob Woffinden.
And a sneak peak on recording sessions for the new album "The Album". This was the first publicity heard sounds of the upcoming single ´The name of the game´.
thank you so much for posting this on You Tube. My father appears on this clip at the Odeon in Birmingham. He was in his 40's then, now in his 80's!!!!! Its a real treasure , thank you!! x x
Imagine that little boy all grown up "I once played "Fernando" with Benny Andersson." His friends would be like, "Yeah, right..sure you did.."
What a wonderful memory he has, to tell his children and future generations! Wow!
Benny was such a dreamboat
Yes, definitely was!!
The little boy like the girls in ABBA because his first question when he walk into the studio was "Where is Anni-Frid and Agnetha"?
The name of the game has awesome lyrics!
Abba é para sempre, Parabéns ❤❤❤
The look that Agnetha gives Bjorn at 2:47
would be enough to make most men die
happily at that moment....She is the most
precious thing that ever drew a breath.
YES SHE IS!
Is so cute to learn a kid with music when friendship bond with a kid
From 2:01 to 2:13 I Wonder (Departure) Live-in the background....It sounds good. Did anybody here had some recording from that concert?Or do you know who have it-(family recording). If yes, please contact me. I have lot of rare abba stuff-recordings from australia, 79 tour etc...for swap or I pay for. Thanks
The little boy is CUUUUUUUUUUUUTE!! Is LOOOOOOOOOOVELY!!
Great. Unfortunately, I don't speak Swedish.
ABBA ❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing. But I would appreciate some translation of the Swedish parts. And who is that lucky little boy?
When did this interview in Birmingham take place?
They talk swedish and he say a swedish word - "faktiskt", in english it's "actually".
@moonflower0924 no he sais faktisk which mean actually in english ;)
Lol aggie gave Benny the flirt trick at 2.47 it's in books I read as a 'tip' lol
What do you mean?
@vintagerosenz She's not even looking at Benny. Maybe you don't know Benny from Bjorn.
WHY would you put up a video in SWEDISH and lead us to believe it's in ENGLISH????!!! Almost CLICKBAIT! I can't understand a word ABBA is saying - and the closed captions aren't working!! Mostly DISAPPOINTING!! 👎🤨🙄😤 The part with Benny playing the keyboard with the little boy was cute, though!!! 😊👍
A Swedish reporter talking to a Swedish band. Do you think they would speak English?? Eeeeeeenooooo!!
@@bagheera79: They SING TO THE PUBLIC IN ENGLISH!! You obviously have a severe comprehension problem. PLEASE re-read my previous reply to you! .
@@Lecasali: Sorry, I don't understand your language - please provide a translation! Thanks!
@@janishart5128 Well, I commented that I loved the part where the little one appears, although I didn't quite understand what they were talking about.
I assume your mother tongue is English.
I'm jealous of the boy :D :( ;P
What did they say in 3:53 ??
Bjorn says: This is what it looks like inside a recording studio. Little boy says: Where is Agnetha and Anni-Frid? Bjorn replys: At home, in Stockholm. At least I hope so, that was the plan.
Love Intument cantar and Day
I'm with the kid, Where's Agnetha!!
@hermitcrabbot... I could not agree more...
Wow they speak good English
Who is that little boy?
Ni idea
The boy won a tv contest. So he meets Benny and Bjorn in their studio
Iay am for mi Istument And piano and Guitarra calas to Day
2500 people. I can't imagine any "phenomenon" today bothering to perform for such a small audience.
Exatly, very strange and '70ish. I think I heard one of the security guys at say that 52 000 had tried to get a ticket. Makes you wonder why they didn't play at a bigger venue. And a couple of years later they sold out Wembley for a week:)
