i love the cheering after the "you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us" line, because after the towers got hit THIS is the movie people needed and that line brung it home for everyone.
Watched this when I was 6 with my dad. Still my favorite superhero origin movie. Tobey Maguire is Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Sam Raimi was the perfect director to make this film.
I never watched this in the theater when it came out but my father or uncle who bought the disc for this movie was a pirated one so we watched it with a live reaction from the crowd lol. Didn't know that a decade or so later that those types of footages will become history.
The fact that the audience cheers and laughs at the legendary Norman Osborn “you know I’m something of a scientist myself” meme just makes me even more proud to be part of the sam raimi Spider-Man movie memes community and a fan of both the movies and the memes

And it was also my very first Comic Book Movie i seen. Along with my very first Comic Book Superhero. Man,i love this movie.
And I hate how everybody who dislikes the tobey spiderman saying thst he wasn’t funny like in the comics but hear the audience is laughing at damn there everything he did from beginning to end, they didn’t make him over the top goofy like Tom Holland but he was still oddly funny
Yes, they did a screening last year in March of 2023. I have the audio, just working to get a copy of the movie to create a similar video later this year.
