This is at the Kennedy Center Honors. Each year they honor different performers and artists. I came across this video a year and a half ago and was loved it so much so I went down the Adam rabbit hole. He's so good and if you read interviews no one that has worked with him or even anyone be it a celebrity or a fan have anything negative to say about him. The clincher was when I heard him sing with Queen and watched the documentary The Show Must Go On. I highly recommend watching it either on RUclips or Netflix. His album Velvet is really good and I love his song Closer to You (live sessions). His performance for the James Corden show of On the Moon from his home during lockdown is so beautiful and seeing the video of him singing the aria Nessun Dorma with Queen last summer in Italy 😮. This performance was when Trump was president and he didn't go to any performances while he was in office so that's why Pelosi was there with the honorees. Another couple of great Kennedy Center Honors performances are Heart singing to Led Zeppelin Stairway to Heaven and Aretha Franklin singing Natural Woman to Carole King.

The Kennedy Center honors specific artists every year, Adam was honoring Cher. Presidents usually attend, but this year Nancy Pelosi attended. Adam's performance was nothing short of brilliant. The actors from the stage show Hamilton were in the audience as well.
