I boil my carrots first in a small amount of water for 10 minutes, drain the water and roast it in the pot , my children love it 😂. Now that I watch your channel I'll roast it right away without boiling it first and I didn't know one can also use rosemary and garlic powder to it . I love Rosemary tea and drink it every day. I use it when roasting chicken and also cook with it. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. You are truly a blessing from Almighty God.

Hi rik, I discovered something new today. I roasted butternut squash in the oven. I put them on a baking sheet and pierced them 4 or 5 times, then baked at 425f for 70 minutes. Then sliced in half, scooped out the seeds, and Bob's your uncle! I always had trouble peeling them with my arthritis.
I always liked carrots when I was a kid,one of the only vegetables that was not over cooked,and mush.Have you tried Agave syrup,I like it,and here it’s cheap compared to maple,or honey.I use to make Lime Tequila sorbet at work,so to keep with the theme I used the agave syrup as the sweetener.I also use it in my oatmeal.
Comforted to hear the cooking term, topped and tailed. And rarely I have needed to core larger carrots, most often in mid winter long stored carrots. No waste of the glaze in the bowl and no stress cooking with standard pantry staples with a pinch of the Rosemary salt for the finishing touch. its 4 AM in rural British Columbia Canada and I am planning winter meals with my morning coffee. Just above freezing temperatures and no snow yet but hauling out winter attire and gear.
I have never been a carrot fan unless they were put in my beef stew or with a roast so they took on the flavor of the meat. I tried this recipe today and My Oh My, delicious.
