MEME TIME Unsure but I saw it on the Rooster Teeth sub reddit before this went up. I think it was over the weekend but I really don't know. So I thought I pay my respects to Joe here.
I LOVE Buckley balancing out Gavin it's awesome, he actually deadpan fights him on points lol. gus and burnie tend to get lost, which is still very entertaining, but james is refreshing haha
He doesn't really seem to know what he's talking about. He was completely wrong about the Queen paying taxes, as well as his comments about 1000 years ago being exactly the same.
James Buckley is actually very well thought on what he believes in, i enjoyed listening to his perspective. I also want a podcast with dan Gavin and James.
Kinda want those three plus another Brit so it is a full on English display but at the same time seeing Bernie or Gus getting lost in their slang would be hilarious
See, the reason I love the Podcast so freaking much is because it sparks creative ideas that I never had before. Out of every episode since MDB originated I have had ideas for questions to ask the crew. I trail off on ideas that I never once thought of, especially having quotes from Sir Gavin Free in the episode. Love you guys, keep it up!
I love that James Buckley watchs rt content like the rest of us. Its humbling that this awesome actor watchs the same stuff as us along with being in some of the content
I was really surprised to see RX-78-2 Gundam, The Godfather of Mechs. My favorite show ever. Me and other five guys stood up in the theater and said It’s a Gundam!!
I can't be the only one who is in love with James Buckley's voice, can I? He just speaks so softly and smoothly. It's like I could sleep to him just reading a book aloud.
I still have Super Troopers on VHS! The first 10 min. are by far the best of any movie I've seen.. Broken Lizard and the makers of Out Cold should get together to make the next big thing!
I really want to see Gus's research on that statistic he brought up, there's one thing I've learned playing The Devil's Advocate there's always a statistic to go against another statistic.
That's because people often cherry pick "statistics" which is why you have to search for the master statistic. If there's two bars and one is a sliver and the other is a tower, they could very easily represent a tiny difference as small as one number. Like, it's a really zoomed in version of the original bar graph. What Gus did was (in a manner of speaking) find the original bar graph and show it to them.
Scribbles Mercantile of Rust Debaters are also the cause of the Flat Earth Society being a real thing. They were just arguing the most objectively false thing they could and they legitimately convinced a rather large portion of people. It's pretty funny and impressive but equal parts sad lol
Wow Gus, I just started rewatching Lost too! That whole script and show takes on a different slant when you know how it ends - there are so many cues to the end. Anyway, another entertaining podcast, thanks guys
Literally finished the podcast thinking "what's James on about? Pets are awesome." Then when I leave the room to let my cat downstairs the other cat had pooped in the corridor and on my shoe -_- James I get your point now what a pain
James, I know this is super late but if you are having that issue often, especially with high fat food, I would suggest having your pancreas checked out. A urine test is usually all you'll need to do unless there is an issue.
its "gavin and the british gavin" because our gavin may be british but he lives here in america more than he does in englandso he is more american now after being here for the last 10 plus years
I just want to let everyone know that in ready player one in the shinning part of it, the hotel was virtually recreated but it is based on a real hotel. It is easier to recreate something that actually exist than to make an entirely new environment which is why it may have looked better than other parts.
Animated movements are generally focused at younger people. *Generally*. It makes sense that an adult wouldn't like them as much as live action movies. That being said, as an adult, the Incredibles and the How to Train Your Dragon movies are up there for me. I don't know about top 5, but definitely in my top 10 favorite movies.
Buckfast Abbey is more well known in Scotland because the monks produce Buckfast Tonic Wine, which is a very popular alcoholic drink in Scotland especially amongst young men and ironically apparently has contributed to Glasgow’s high crime rate
To buy an audible gift voucher you have to use the desktop version, it can't be done on the mobile version, so that's a good time for the request desktop version button 1:00:00
note to self: possible movie idea where guy in charge of translating Babylonian manuscript finally translates one about how to contact aliens or something like that XD
I felt like the love story in Ready Player One was too rushed, like we were supposed to care about them getting together before there was any incentive to. I enjoyed the movie, but it wasn't amazing.
Lonestoner I felt like it completely undermined the whole "be careful who you trust" angle the movie originally brought up. Like one moment Artemis is telling Persivel, or whatever his name is, that he shouldn't go chasing after her because he has no idea who she actually is, and then 5 minutes later she's attracted to him in real life after meeting him for the first time. AND they almost kiss. I think it would have been much stronger to place that stuff as a potential at the end of the movie. Like maybe he asks her to go out with him. I know it kind of played into the whole backstory of the developer and how he wasn't going to make the same mistakes, but it was a little too much.
Heard Joe The Cat died.
RIP Joe The Cat.

Wait.....WHAT?!?!?
When did this happen???
MEME TIME Unsure but I saw it on the Rooster Teeth sub reddit before this went up.
I think it was over the weekend but I really don't know.
So I thought I pay my respects to Joe here.
It's definitely confirmed, they talk about it on the podcast.
he's dead.. they address it in the show. I loved joe, he was the reason i got my cat. I am glad he was loved so much
Gonna miss you, Joe the cat
I LOVE Buckley balancing out Gavin it's awesome, he actually deadpan fights him on points lol. gus and burnie tend to get lost, which is still very entertaining, but james is refreshing haha

James Boseman wring
1:23:19 burnie opens up heartfelt memories of joe the cat... immediately interrupted lol
Buckley should narrate things. His voice is just so soft and nice.
right? I'm surprised I didn't see more comments like this. I swear I could listen to him babble on about nonsense for hours.
Well he does tons of adverts...
He does children’s books aswell
i dont like him. make him go away.
James Buckley is actually very well thought on what he believes in, i enjoyed listening to his perspective. I also want a podcast with dan Gavin and James.
Throw in Ellie and you can have a UK podcast!
Kinda want those three plus another Brit so it is a full on English display but at the same time seeing Bernie or Gus getting lost in their slang would be hilarious
Isique Yang I imagine James is the embodiment of everything smart gavins trying to say that he can’t say
Isique Yang i'll one up you, i want Gavin, Dan, James Buckley , and Sally Le Page or Ellie all on one podcast.
A special podcast called A Spot of Tea with Gav, James, and Ellie.
That title, without a question, is a Gavin freaking Free question.
I think you meant to say, A Gavin Free-k-ing question
GOD DAMMIT BARB!
It was burnie who asked that tho
OK I HAVE TO CLARIFY, OCEAN BOUNDARIES ARE DEFINED BY THE OCEANIC PLATES THEY SIT ON
Sorry it was hurting my soul
Rip Joe the Cat
RESPOND, DAMMIT!
Joe Kaput Yes they confirm at around an hour and 20 mins in
TM Delacrush Yes they confirm at around an hour and 20 mins in

Love roosterteeth so much, they had a british national treasure on the podcast and didnt put him in the title or thumbnail. Very refreshing
Well Gavin was correct. The Queen does voluntarily pay tax, even though she doesn’t legally have to
Yes, because paying tax on unearned wealth is such a ballache
She was actually named in the panama papers scandal of having a tax haven
@@Wolfmasterpixel how can you slander someone for giving away money they own and came about lawfully
@@Thetruepianoman what's slanderous in saying that she should pay tax on money she hasn't even earned anyway?
‘You’re having a laugh ain’t ya?’ - James Buckley 2018
1:20:00 R.I.P joe the cat
When Gavin says, “mark” I IMMEDIATELY thought, “mark nut” I will never be the same with some things 🤣 and I’m kinda of with that haha!
You should have buckley on again, he's great
Buckley's like a nomad who only travels between the RT channels
Nick Morales like a nomad of nowhere
PausePlay
zwei are you making puns
Nomad of RT
RIP Joe the Cat.
Completed it mate
Every time Gavin asks a question, it sounds like a Vsauce question. " Who was the first person to write down history?"..." What makes it an Ocean?"
Can't wait for Super Troopers 2! Those guys are awesome.
I love that James Buckley watchs rt content like the rest of us. Its humbling that this awesome actor watchs the same stuff as us along with being in some of the content
Buckley, you have made me laugh so much during this podcast, and I just want to say thank you my good sir.
I was really surprised to see RX-78-2 Gundam, The Godfather of Mechs. My favorite show ever. Me and other five guys stood up in the theater and said It’s a Gundam!!
I didn't recognize who it was until he mentioned inbetweeners and instantly all of my favorite scenes with him came back fucking a
1:28:17 People have talked about that and that's why we have the term "Eurasia", Burnie. You're free to use it anytime, Burnie.
i feel like James Buckley's gunna start a revolution and im all about it
I can't be the only one who is in love with James Buckley's voice, can I? He just speaks so softly and smoothly. It's like I could sleep to him just reading a book aloud.
I'm literally only thinking of watching RP1 because I saw a Halo 2 Anniversary Elite in a screenshot
Vtel 'Zolam there's also a group of Spartans in it and one of the characters uses an Assault Rifle.
Dude I almost cried seeing that in the trailer, same as when I almost cried seeing the iron giant.
There is a h2a elite in the movie but I didn't catch whether of not it is the Half Jaw or now.
AhegaoComics by Half-Jaw you mean Rtas Vadum?
Yeah Was too lazy to spell out his name.
always great having James Buckley as guest
#RT15
Happy Late Birthday Rooster Teeth
Loooool 15 mins in and I just realise who the guest is haha. 😂😂.
Michael Warmington
Yeah, "And Gus".
James made so much sense in this podcast. Honestly all of them did.
James Buckley is a delight, we need him on the podcast more. :)
Me: *Looks over at the wall at a zodiac caleneder that I won at a Chinese food place* Ah I'm a... horse.
Well i got either way.
"We promise, these are not snake oil pills." Always a good sign when you have to call stuff like that out.
thank you for loving Joe the Cat
I love when Buckley is on podcasts!
Isn't Joel a founder as well. Why has he been left off that tag line as of late...
I still have Super Troopers on VHS! The first 10 min. are by far the best of any movie I've seen.. Broken Lizard and the makers of Out Cold should get together to make the next big thing!
Ready Player One is absolutely a DVD/Blu-ray movie so you can stop everything scene by scene and watch it over and over again and find every detail
I really want to see Gus's research on that statistic he brought up, there's one thing I've learned playing The Devil's Advocate there's always a statistic to go against another statistic.

Scribbles Mercantile of Rust as a debater, I’ll tell you that as a debater, you can play devils advocate and go against them with the same statistic
Kyanite how is this feet of linguistics achieved? I don't think I've ever used their own statistic as an arguing point against them.
Scribbles Mercantile of Rust Debaters are also the cause of the Flat Earth Society being a real thing. They were just arguing the most objectively false thing they could and they legitimately convinced a rather large portion of people. It's pretty funny and impressive but equal parts sad lol
@@Edward-Not-Elric Even the master statistic usually isn't representative of the entire topic.
I was like I swear that guy is from the inbetweeners and when they asked him about it at 14:55 I felt sooo stupid XD
this was totally just like a chill podcast, i really liked it. r.i.p joe the cat.
Wow Gus, I just started rewatching Lost too! That whole script and show takes on a different slant when you know how it ends - there are so many cues to the end.

Buckleys voice is comforting
I love James Buckley so much.
Jay from the inbetweeners what a god

James is so chilled out, he brings a nice contrast to the podcast.
As a construction worker the crotch stitching always rips first
15 yrs more RT congrads!!!

If you've got nothing to hide then give cops a set of your keys. Let them come in whenever they want and see how well you like it.
The British banter in this ep was toppers
Gavin as a kid looks like the kid with the shirt over his head dancing to drop it like it's hot in the vine! lmao
James Buckley, spot on with the monarchy business. Axe it!
49:05 yup they are not letting him back in the UK xD
James, I know this is super late but if you are having that issue often, especially with high fat food, I would suggest having your pancreas checked out. A urine test is usually all you'll need to do unless there is an issue.
came for gavin stayed for Buckers
you should watch the off topic episode where he's on (i think it was about a year ago or so), he really tore into gavin on that one :)
TM Delacrush you should watch him play Jay in the inbetweeners, fits him perfectly (just kidding lol)
@@SidneyTurnerOfficial Well his family is from Italy. There's even a Skype commercial you can find on RUclips of Gavin and his Italian grandfather.
why is there a gavin and a british gavin?
Gavin and the British.
its "gavin and the british gavin" because our gavin may be british but he lives here in america more than he does in englandso he is more american now after being here for the last 10 plus years
The fact that BUckfast abbey was mentioned made me 100% happier. Mon the Buckfast!
I believe James Buckley is the only person to have been on the best two podcasts around. Rooster Teeth and the True Geordie.
Literally didn't recognize James with the beard till you brought up inbetweeners :'D
Make a founders podcasts
The_Businessman they basically do that every year with the founding fathers panel.
"We havent missed a week"

I can imagine Gavin, James, and Ellie in the same podcast. That would be a listen
Only if they invite Sally or resurrect Ben to make it a Britcast
So weird that Gavin and Burnie brought up that episode of Planet Earth (not blue planet), I just watched that exact episode and it's from 2 years ago!
James drops an awesome Trainspotting pun, no one even bats an eye. Thats how it should be done Barb :D

85 more years and we can get everything for free at the RT store.
Oh my gosh, James is exactly how I picture a typical British guy 🤣
It took me 9 minutes to realise it was Jay from the inbetweeners
I watched Ready Player One after like 5 dabs but I'm pretty sure I distinctly remember Ruby's sword scythe thing in there
Ruby is in the final battle scene at the same time as the Spartans faintly in the background

James is really cool.
Why isn't James Buckley in the thumbnail?
Ruby is definitely in there, its a small clip though. Its in the scene with the Halo Spartans.
