Crazy Fast 1968 Camaro

- This has to be the fastest and best looking 1968 Camaro that I have ever seen. This Camaro is battling the fastest cars in the Chicago Wise Guys Racing group at Great Lakes Dragaway with plenty of 6 seconds passes at over 200 miles per hour.
This 1968 Camaro has a carbon fiber body and interior with a Chevy 864 cubic inch engine, 4 stages of Nitrous, and a 3 speed TH400 transmission. Best pass down the quarter mile to date is a 6.17 at 228mph.

Thanks Tom. I agree it’s a really beautiful and cool car. I especially like that while the body lines have clearly been modified it’s not so radical (like the white blown Pro Mod Camaro) to not be instantly recognizable as a first gen Camaro. I honestly don’t get why guys at this level would chose to run nitrous. Hard to tune (narrow margin of error), VERY expensive to maintain just to mention a few. As engine builder Steve Morris likes to say, “friends don’t let friends run nitrous”.
I agree Dan. But the only thing I can think of is if you have figured out Nitrous in the past and know it well you just stick with what works. The guy can sure lay the smack down with that thing. Thanks for watching Dan!

It's fast, but it's nothing special. There's like a billion 68 Camaros in ProMod. It kinda gets tiring. I wish more people would use other body styles.
