I had to purchase this as soon as I heard it. I’ve been playing it all day. If I didn’t know better, I would say Rachmaninoff wrote this as a piano piece himself. There are Elements of the second piano concerto interspersed throughout. With your permission I would like to play this in a recital.

Rachmaninoff really makes a person cry
Because it feels like it reaches the persons very deep down heart that no one else ever could notice ever.

This is genuinely one of the best Rachmaninov transcriptions I've ever heard. Complimenti!

This is sublime...and I've just purchased it. Not cheap but there's no other solo piano transcription on the internet and it's just beautiful, so worth every penny ....❤😊!!

should have gotten volodos'... his is far lusher and better written.

@Pianolover5883 I agree with you that Volodos’ version is out of this world (as well as everything else he has written). This one was more of a humble attempt to stick with the original writing while managing to fit in all the melody notes. Thanks for your comment!

Excellent!! S.V.Rachmaninoff himself was among others a grandmaster of the transcriptions. And you have created a great transcription of one of his masterpiece! Congrats!!
