- With just three matches remaining this season Birmingham City travel to relegated Rotherham United as they true to secure three valuable points and try to avoid relegation themselves and join Rotherham in League One next season. This really is a vital game and a must win game for the Blues, who can take confidence from the recent 3-0 home victory against Coventry City.

We had 23 attempts on goal against Rotherham and lost 2-1 these results happen now and again DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE how mad the championship is 😳🦁🦁

In the video that we are not underestimating this game at all, we know this will be tough. In our position we simple have to find a way of winning and even it’s a scrappy goal that can give us a victory no Blues fan will care. KRO

We’re expecting a very difficult game. If we show up like we did against Coventry I can’t see us not winning but as you know it’s hard to tell sometimes which team will turn up. An early opener would be glorious to settle the nerves and calm it down.

The only reason we won’t beat Rotherham is if the Blues players don’t turn up and perform like they should or can do. We have previous. Still, I’m hopeful we’ll get the win. Three points is essential cos I’m expecting a point against Hudds and maybe a point against Norwich.
Thank you for your comment. All the boys need to do is carry in where they left off against Coventry. If they do that we will win. They have to maintain that intensity but also be prepared for a battle. KRO

As a Bluenose abroad ( USA) appreciate the common sense content all the time. Long time fan, from season tickets in the 70s and early 80s. And was privileged to see our greats play. I'm also lucky in 30 odd games back on holiday to only have seen Blues lose once in all those games ( man utd). Definitely you both have a chemistry together and are very realistic as all of us have to be. If they play for the shirt we'll be OK. Keep it up Gents. KRO

It’s fair to say that some of the teams around us still have tricky games however we have already seen some shock results and I think this will continue to happen for the last three games. If we can carry on where we left off against Coventry then we will be ok. KRO
It’s definitely a must win game and if we win and Huddersfield or Sheffield Wednesday don’t win it’s a nice cushion

Very good analysis of things guys. I've watched the official video for our mens goal of the season over and over again - we've got so much talent in our squad and were scoring goals so late in the game ourselves. We shouldn't be where we are. Anyway for sure we'll get a lot of long balls to defend, but if we fight like we did against Coventry I think we'll be OK. KRO and let's stick together!
Thank you for your comment. There is definitely talent in our squad however a lot of the players have underperformed for much of the season and the change of managers has also not helped.
We need to maintain the momentum from the Coventry performance and be prepared for a different type of game and to dig in. A scrappy goal and three points will do, as long as we get the win that is all that matters. KRO
It's in our hands. With recent results i'm no longer looking at the other teams around us dropping points, it hasn't happened. Blackburn at Leeds, Plymouth beating Leicester, just two examples. If we're going to stay up, it will be through our own efforts.

After last Saturdays result I think we will win 2-0 against Rotherham. Realistically we will only probably need a point then out of our remaining 2 games. Crazy to think we are currently on 45 points when exactly 10 years ago we stayed up on goal difference with 44 points!

I certainly agree if we can continue with that momentum and performance we will come away with 3 points but it all depends on what Blues team turns up. Hard to tell sometimes this season which team is turning up week to week 😂
I really liked his selection against Coventry and it worked really well so hopefully he sticks with this and we will do well. Let's hope for not a repeat of 10 years ago. I think I might have a heart attack.

We need to be composed on the ball. I understand high tempo attacking but it needs to be under control. Hope u guys understand what I mean. I may have watched too many man city games lol but ye at times slow it down and be comfortable in possession and passing. Up the blues

I think that the Coventry performance demonstrated that the players understand what we need to do to get out of trouble and I hope we can carry on where we left off. No doubt that Rotherham may be more of a challenge that some might expect because as we said in the video, all of their home games are very tight. KRO
I said it before the Coventry game that Rotherham are already relegated and that makes them dangerous, they have nothing to lose.
Thank you for your comment. Very true and I would be very surprised if any of the Blues players or fans think otherwise. We know that things are currently in our hands and we have to keep it that way. A win against Rotherham will mean that we will be above Huddersfield when we play them as I fully expect them to beat Swansea at home on Saturday. If we can only play like we did against Coventry in our final three games I’ve no doubt we will stay up. KRO
Since 2000...Blues have played away to Rotherham..P7..won 3..drawn 3 ..and lost only 1👍👍👍 No excuses here 🤔

Thank you for your comment. The Rotherham game is really important to win as we mentioned in the video because that would mean we would go into the Huddersfield game above them. Ideally we would want to win the Huddersfield game but the most important thing is that we don’t lose it, so a draw against them would not be a disaster. It will go down to the wire I’m sure and I suspect that based on other results we will need something from the Norwich game as well! KRO
Rotherham may be already relegated but their individual players will be putting themselves in the shop window, so it won't be an easy game. but if Blues play like they did against Coventry they could beat anyone. I hope Blues start with the same team .
Thank you very much for your comment. Unless we have any injuries I would be very surprised if Gary Rowett will change the starting line up. They did so well against Coventry and need to carry on where they left off.
As we said in the video Rotherham’s home games are always very tight and usually settled by the odd goal. This won’t be easy but the players will have to dig in to bring the three points home. KRO

Let's hope it's nothing like when we played them at home!! Fortunately, that dark cloud has gone now. However, his legacy still remains. Still..... time to move on now and what better way than to get the results that we need, building on the performance and result from the Cov game and picking up another vital 3 points!

@@richardpincher8936 yes, we were at Carrow Road earlier in the season when they beat us 2-0, we were still under John Eustace at the time but we were awful. We will need to be better than that in our final game and I’m pretty sure we will be. The stadium will be packed and it will be bouncing. KRO
