Hello! Would this help with stopping the leak in my add on rooms? When it rains a lot water leaks through where the floor meets concrete. Would this stop water from coming through base of wall? Floor is concrete with outside brick and wood walls.
I’d try a product called DryLock. It is a white paint. You can also use DryLock Fast Plug to patch up any interior cracks. That may help, but if you have foundational cracks then you may need to coat the exterior with tar.
I'm wondering to seal my bathtub around the edges could I use the clear Flex Seal spray instead of the caulk? Seems to me if it dries clear and produces a rubber finish that might be a good way to avoid caulking?
I think it should work pretty well. Not sure what the rated strength is on it though so as long as you're not using it to patch a large hole it should be great.
Is it safe if I apply the liquid seal on clothing?? I want to use it on black jeans/ maybe make a weird shirt using it but I want to know if it’s harmful, like are there any harmful chemicals that can transfer into my skin/body
There’s no way for me to be able to advise you on that. Double check the ingredients and check them against your allergies. If you do put it on clothing, it won’t breath so you’ll sweat and be very warm.
Hey quick question will the flex seal spray be good as a final coat to even out the flex seal liquid I used in a mould, or will the flex spray melt it?
Thanks for the tip, I'm using it as handles for some knives for Christmas. It's been about 24 hours since I poured the moulds and they're starting to harden slightly but not much
You sure can! I’ve done it to a wooden table on a pontoon boat. It’s been on there for 10 years now and still looks great. I suspect it would be less on a deck due to the high traffic.

"An inch a minute, not an inch a minute you know what I mean, 1/2 inch every 30 seconds" 😂
Yeah. Ah well.
Lolol
Thanks for the video, which is best for rubber to rubber?
Probably Flex Seal
Will using a heat gun help the curing process to prevent dripping.
You could try a hair dryer or a fan to help it cure faster on the surface.

I would definitely use caulk. It provides a clean look and a water tight seal. Spraying it would be uneven and splattered.
How do you coat the bottom of something?
Would use use a brush?
Foam brush? Bristle brush?
Foam brush would work.
Can I use it to repair the handle of a chisel? Stanley Fat Max, half amber plastic, half rubber, pity to throw away.
I would think so.
Can I use this to fill in a missing part of weatherstripping on my apartment doors?
It might be worth a try. However, buying the weather stripping isn’t that expensive.
@@HowToVideoChannel thank you! 🌟
No problem!
My AC wall unit is leaking from the inside to my room and was wondering what to use to stop the water leaks..
Try the flex seal liquid. Make sure the area is good and dry before applying and that you allow at least 24 hours for it to cure.
I was thinking of using it in the bilge of my boat. Seems it might be better then bilge paint. What is your opinion?
I think it should work pretty well.
Not sure what the rated strength is on it though so as long as you're not using it to patch a large hole it should be great.
Can I use this stuff on car rubber shift knob? Peeling.
It would be worth a try. I'd opt for the PlastiDip in that situation.
@@HowToVideoChannel ok. Thanks!
No problem. Let me know how it works!

If you do put it on clothing, it won’t breath so you’ll sweat and be very warm.
How durable is that stuff? If you coated the soles of a PU shoe with several coats would it hold up under that kind of use?
It probably would, however it will really scuff up the floors. Truck bedliner would probably be a better option for what you need.
What about the Sray can does it dry faster than the liquid??????
The spray can will probably dry faster. It really depends on how thick you apply it.
If I apply the Flex Seal really thick like 3/16 in some spots how long is that going to take to cure do you think?
I’d wait about 24 hours.
@@HowToVideoChannel thanks. Yep it's curing up good. Better than I thought it would.
Awesome!
I am building a plastic water tank, will this make the joints waterproof?
Yes, it should. I’d go with the liquid rather than the spray.
Can I use flex seal spray over flex seal liquid for a cement shower
I would think so.
Can you get in white color?
Yes
Will it work on rubber skateboard wheels if a chunk is missing?
I bet it would work but I don’t know how long it would last. You’d probably be better off getting a new wheel.
How To Video Channel ok thank you, it’s made out of polyester urethane
Hey quick question will the flex seal spray be good as a final coat to even out the flex seal liquid I used in a mould, or will the flex spray melt it?
The flex seal spray won’t melt anything. However, it doesn’t apply as thick as the liquid so I don’t think it will help a lot in evening things out.

Can I use it in a balcony to replace worn out silicone between concrete and tiles to leak proof during rain and snow?
i have a couple rust spots on my pickup i was thinking about using it on my lower bed outside , i wonder how good it would be ?
It wears off pretty quickly. I've done is several times before. Your best option is to get bedliner and use that.
@@HowToVideoChannel ah okay i was also looking at this airplane putty ,notthat expensive but extremely durable

Thank you!
I wonder if this will work for potting transformer
Probably
Can I use this for bathtub cracks?
Yes, but Flex Tape may be a better option.
Can you spray on the inside of the pipes
Yes. You can use it pretty much anywhere.
does it have the same odor as the spary
Similar.
Hi, when comparing flex seal liquid spray with plastidip spray which one have more low viscosity?
PlastiDip
@@HowToVideoChannel alright thank you Sir
Which one would be more permanent the flex seal spray or plastidip?
Flex Seal Spray vs Plastidip liquid? I'd go with the liquid. However, if you are comparing the sprays, go with Flex Seal.
@@HowToVideoChannel the plasti dip can be peeled off car. Have you used on car as paint? am I able to peal it off like plasti dip?

It may work. I recommend Goop for adhesives.

Probably, but you should do a small test piece beforehand to make sure.

I wonder if it would work on my old boots? Seriously! Right now I have a half pound of shoo-goo on them.

can flex seal liquid be mixed with paint?
I suppose it could be. However, you are going to dilute the compound, which will make it less effective.
Why would you want to mix it with paint?
