This is a great product. Phil built a boat out of it, I'm pasting my car together with it. (My car is 23 years old). The only downside is, don't get the big tub. I did that, and I stored it, just like the video said, and I pulled it out to use it this past week, and it was as hard as a rock, and useless. Now, I'll be honest, Flex Seal Products did make it good, and are replacing the hard paste with the smaller container of it. And, the Flex Tape has worked well for me too. Just remember on the tape, once you get it placed on, IT AIN'T COMING OFF. LOL Great product line.
I've bought every Flex Seal product and have to say, that not only for the entertainment and memes, they are all as advertised and have incredible results.
Good to know! I have a couple of holes in my wall and was wondering if this product would be suitable. I've been looking through the comments hoping to find a comment that tells me how well the product works. No luck until I saw your comment! Thanks!

This putty seems perfect for my little sealing job but I have some questions, if you please. Goal: I am expecting to seal the joint line between my ceramic tiles floor and a standard-type wall, in my work area that is on top floor (because no room for it in the basement!). I have lots of work involving relatively high amount of water in there, and my goal is that when there a water overflow, I can just keep on working without constantly worrying about the water accumulating to the point where it is percolating through to the floor below through the joints between walls and floor, which is then forcing me to then repaint the lower floor's ceiling, which happened a couple times over the years. My goal is to have the sealing applied straight diagonally i.e. the putty once dried would form a 45 degrees angle with both floor and wall. My putty knife is 3 cm wide, so that will be the width of that line. This means the max putty thickness will be the perpendicular of that, which according to my calculation is going to be exactly half of my putty knife width, thus 1.5 cm. I prefer going a bit overboard with the amount of sealing putty, because all the ceramic tiles have lots of little cracks on their side nearest the walls (old tiles), and I planned to make that watertight too. I'd rather have a single big and wide putty "strip", to give me a rather finished look, than a thin one that saves up on putty material, but with needing tons of little ugly retouchings all over the many, many little cracks, which would look quite ugly instead. I calculated that my "strip" will need 4.5 cubic centimeter of putty per each centimeter or strip length, and I have about 6.7 meters of total strip length for my floor-to-wall connection sealing. Ergo, with such a thick sealant strip, by volume I will need about 3 liters of putty. So... my questions: A- What is the sealing putty specific density (as sold, before drying)? i.e. the liters volume to pounds weight ratio. B- How much shrinkage (as a rough percentage of thickness) can I expect the putty to get? For example, if I apply my 3 cm wide strip, and do it all in one go, will it dry nicely and solidly, or will it try to shrink so much that there will be cracks or weaknesses in the material? C- If i can't do it in one single application and need multiple layers, what is the max thickness that each layer should be? Or can I just apply the entire needed thickness in one go and just let it cure longer? D- If applying such "big thick" stripes is not really recommended at all, then how thick should my sealing joint strip be? E- And for covering all the remaining little tiny cracks, is there a minimum layer thickness for best results? F- Also for covering the remaining little tiny cracks, is there a transparent product version? Would a liquid type of sealant work better than a putty? As they would in that case be put right adjacent to each other, is the liquid type sealant "compatible" with the putty (making a proper contiguous seal without weird chemical reactions)? Thank you very much!
Hmm, don't know if I have gloves to spare for protecting myself since I have to use them for flex paste. Oh well, who needs to be safe anyway! please stay safe this is a joke please don't arrest me
