In my case, i did not have a phone stand, so I first tried on the bed, thus phone was not completely horizontal. There was around 5 degree difference from horizontal position. Once I put it on a stand where it is completely horizontal it worked!
I did everything shown in the video, but my Lock Screen won’t even stay on for longer than 5 seconds for the standby option to pop up for me to edit it
When it’s in standby mode, I would like to make it brighter. I also have battery percentage turned off and low power mode off too. I don’t know if this makes a difference, but I do have it turned off. Thanks for your video.
Still not working for me neither. I have iPhone 12, which is on your list of compatible phones. I’ve even updated to the newest release 18.0.1 and it still doesn’t work😢
Apple is loosing their game. I have the standby clock, but the time is frozen, seconds hand does not move. Sheesh, you would think a clock is the most simple piece of software to make. Not impressed at all.
Rubbish video. Total waste of time. Here is the real answer, which I eventually found- you must follow these steps: lock iPhone, then turn on side, then connect to charger. Must be done in this order!!
How absolutely ridiculous that you have to have iPhone 14 pro or newer for 'always on' to be enabled. Another Apple ploy to get you to renew your perfectly good older phone. Tossers!
no, they have different displays that allow them to go as little as 1hz, which saves almost all battery, whereas the phones under don’t have the technology
I have I phone 15 pro max I have done all settings that you have explained but still not working
me too!
I'm having an issue that others are also having, I can't customize it anymore. I was able to do it once but not anymore.

Apparently the phone needs to be locked, then turn it on its side and it works. Well, that's what I needed to do anyway.

Once your screen in on lock mode hold down in the screen for 3 seconds it it will come on.
