I made an ai wallpaper with models I trained to look like me and my wife, animated it in AE and made a color grade, made sure all effects and final video loops, it looks like a cute pic of us and it's amazing, she loves it because she likes how it looks and saw the hours I put into making it for us... Set it on my android in 2 seconds with wallpaper engine and it plays and loops perfectly. ... Now I learn iPhone doesn't have the option to play automatically 24/7 without pressing it AND I can't set it because motion isn't supported. I can only set an image. This is ludicros. People say it can't play all the time because of battery issues... My phone is 6 years old and lasts all day with a live wallpaper and heavy use because it was a flagship phone at the time. As for the motion not working, makes no sense why setting a live wallpaper is difficult as if it were revolutionary/difficult technology to implement when it was possible to do it on a cracked iPod all the way back in popular Cydia days when I was a kid. Apple is a joke.

There is only 1 app on appstore who have real live photo to download and set in lock screen... but the photos sucks I tested all of them The problem is to set live wallpaper need to be recorder from iphone, with live photo in hief format with iPhone specs on info of the photo.

I can set as wallpaper only the live picture captured by my phone (14 Pro) but not old pictures captured by my old phone (SE).
I'm using Live wallpapers for me app and its working good. However, if you download any other video and convert it to Live photo it is not working.
I used different apps VideotoLive and intoLive to make the wallpaper be live but all to no avail, it doesn't work , maybe it's some bug in ios 17?
