I get a broken image icon in the email. I've tested the code elsewhere (composed a Mailchimp email), and it works there, but not with Contact Form 7. Any suggestions?
The only thing I can think of is the email client you’re testing on is blocking images. MailChimp’s IP could be more trusted than your website’s IP and that could be why MailChimp sent images are working.

I was making it more complicated (I uploaded the image using CPanel and was using that url), however, it's still not working once I added the image to wordpress's media library and used that url. Now there's no image, just a blank space. Any suggestions much appreciated. Update: I figured it out. Since the email was getting sent to spam, images weren't loading. I moved the message to my imbox, selected "Display images" and there they were. Thanks for the video!

Hi Iric, You can define a width in the image tag. Something like this: Just change 200px to a different pixel value and the image will be displayed with that width. If you don't define a height, the height will be automatically resized based on the width. I rarely define a height, but if you want to you can do it like this: You'll have to define exact width and height to make sure the aspect ratio of the image is correct. It's more work this way, that's why I don't use it. I hope that helps and thanks for watching! P.S. Hey Josh, You would have to find the URL to the avatar image and add it to the email like I show in this video. CF7 isn't as integrated as it could be. I hope that helps, let me know if you have any further questions. Thanks for watching!

Hi Pedram, yes sir. Just use the same html code as in this video. Paste it anywhere in your form builder where you want the image to appear. Just make sure it's outside of any shortcodes. I hope that helps, thanks for watching!

By default HTML emails are compatible with all major email clients. If you don't add any strange tracking codes or scripts it should work. Most email clients turn images off by default, the only way around that is if the user whitelists your email address.

It should work with any image file. Have you tested your setup with a PNG to confirm that it works?

You would have to find the URL to the avatar image and add it to the email like I show in this video.

Hi Kenny, the page link wouldn't work in this case because the page is private and you need to add the image URL to the email template.

Please make a HTML email that is compatible with all the major email clients.
