- I put it together without difficulty. The manual is very good and all of the parts were clearly labeled. One hose appears to be a spare since they pre-install a difficult to reach hose for you. I'm still quite impressed. I'll buy fuel today and do a trial run with water in the spray tank.

Nice video. I just assembled my new Mister Duster -- look out mosquitos and spotted lantern flies! Thanks for the brief addition at the end explaining what the extra tubing is for!
Spit on the connectors. It will go together like peas and carrots and won't leave a greasy mess. Additionally, many petroleum products can break down rubbers and plastics. Instead of cutting the clear tubing just wrap it around the black tube a couple times to take up the slack.

I just got mine and I find the instructions to be terrible. The print and photos are way too small. The 'twist' assembly on the wand was very frustrating. Let's hope it functions properly.

Do you know what the lever adjustment on the want elbow does? It has a +\- on it and the manual says it’s a seal of some sort.
That's right next to the plug where the dry powder goes. I imagine that it regulates the flow of dry powder into the blower hose. I don't use powder, so I really don't have any experience with using that.

I use 50:1 with a quality synthetic oil. Sam gas that I run in my chainsaw.

What is that piece of metal chain linkage that came with the parts
The chain is a ground to prevent static from building up in the wand when you're dusting with powder. It provides a few benefits: 1) Preventing static keeps dust from clinging inside the wand; 2) Preventing static prevents arcing that could ignite dust; 3) Preventing static prevents the operator from getting an electrical shock. All good reasons to read the instructions and follow them when dusting with powder.

I haven't tried it for that yet. Sorry.
