    I bought my first 4x4 and it happened to be a '69 Bronco. It was my hunting/camping truck for 2 years. Then I did a "frame off" resto for about $6k when it was all said and done. Those days are LONG gone and it is so stupid that these are now in the 5-6 figure range. Glad to hear you got it for $2k. That is how it should be.

    Great video! This is a project that is for sure on my some day list, and it is videos like this that not only push me closer to making it happen but give a great insight into what it is going to take. Thanks for taking the time to do it, and awesome job so far!

    I have been stoked for this update! Thanks! Atm I’m saving up for a project bronco myself and these help “hold me over”

    Get a blueprint 347 stroker with Edelbrock pro flow 4 backed up with 4r70w or 6R80 . That’s exactly what I just did for my Restomod . You’re not going to want to sell it! Great job so far ! 👊

    John, my 1972 needed a new body as well, then I added a blueprint 331 crate engine. At the end after all body painting etc. I was in ~$100,000 and 4,000 hours, it took over 4 years. This started as a $5,000 truck. :-) Good luck.

    Looking good. I’m about a year behind you. Would like to know where the rotisserie came from that looks like you mounted right to the DC crate. 4:48

      The rotisserie is one that Donnie built for his builds. He let me use it to spray the bottom

    Can anyone recommend their favorite carpet for a '67? Thank you!

    Huge progress right there. Curious if you're willing to share more detail for those of use who choose to assemble our bodies. There's some data available out there, though one I've not ever found is the vertical distance from the inner rocker top flange to the top horizontal area of the front hinge posts. Since you have a new body and the original driver be interesting to know how those distances compare to one another. Neither of mine are welded in place, just clamped at 22 1/2" above the inner rocker with the lower edge of the windshield cowl panel 3" above that at 25 1/2".

    Looks great, I need to drop by Dreamweaver and take a gander at the body. The color looked lighter after it dried.

      Yeah it was lighter but still felt a little too dark. Come by and take a look!

    Definitely go with coyote to max profit if you’re building a brand new truck

    Ah raptor liner is supposed to be sprayed over primer, never directly on to bare metal is what they're website says?

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  Год назад

      All the panels had the e-coating primer. The spots that I welded I sprayed a primer on a scuffed before spraying the raptor liner. The scuffing I was doing first was scuffing that e-coating.

      Did you decide on the engine? Are you rebuilding the stock or going with a coyote? Enjoying your videos and considering one of these builds. Finishing up a 63 corvette restomod now and the wife really wants one.

    Kind of disappointed your went with a new fab entire body. I have a 67 and am trying to keep it as original as possible even though she’s rusty. At least you’re keeping the motor

    • @NashvilleEarlyBronco
      @NashvilleEarlyBronco  Год назад +3

      Man, the body was shot. Not worth saving, but I get it. It would have been cool to bring it back. Literally every panel had to be replaced.
