So Dokkaebi's gadget is a weaker version of Deimos and she has a weaker load out.
Maybe Ubisoft's balancing motto should be if everyone's useless, no one can be overpowered

@@Useridkyou the abilities are what separate this game from others, otherwise it's just an indoor Call of Duty with slow movement and Search and Destroy rules.
Ok so your a dimwit. Dokk needs a slight rework and I think this is fine. Everyone's phone ringing at once has been op for a while, people just started realizing that. And her loadout is way better than Diemos so you got 2 l's
As a Dokkaebi Main, she better have 4-5 more calls because calling single operator at a time is absolute garbage.
The actual revealed rework isnt garbage it balances her.
Nothing changes about her calls. She still calls every operator. But there will now be a 45 second wait from the time the round starts to be able to use her first call and then another 45 second cooldown to use her second call.
Thats actual balancing and its probably the first thing ubisoft did right when balancing😂

@donnym3415 she hasn't changed since release, they've only removed grenades from her. She's only 'OP' right now because ubi has nerfed everyone else to the ground

Nah I agree this is balanced. And was necessary. This makes her kit more relative to other attackers and less oppressive. The only real counter is mute if you are in the proximity of a jammer. Definitely a great balance for her.

@@DarkThomas-q5x good point, my point was that dokk is a roam clear, so if you can hide properly or use mute/mozzie you can prevent getting cleared

Straight up turning Dokkaebi into Deimos sounds like a garbage rework.
I think she's so frustrating because of how overtuned she is - She can give global sound cues of where defenders are until the call ends or until they disable it, she forces alive defenders off cams until the call ends or until they disable it, turns off cams for dead defenders for the full duration, can steal cams via hacking a dead defender's phone.
She's really only countered by Mute or Tubarao, and she counters all roamers and all camera operators.
Echo used to have a hidden passive that allowed him to not be called by Dokkaebi, but then got rid of that when they decided "passives aren't healthy for the game" (despite still adding more since, like Aruni punch).
Maybe she needs more counters, or to limit what her calls actually can do. But introducing a character whose sole purpose is to track down a specific target. And then later reworking a similar intel gathering OP to be exactly the same way but with sound cues instead, just sounds like a garbage idea.

It is more likely to add a feature they once added on the test servers and then scraped it.
Nokk, during that small time, while using her ability, could go past traps, like kapkans and even proximity alarm undetected and not triggering them

I think it would make much more sense if dokkaebi could call every op spotted at the same time, not just one of 'em.
Instead of one at a time just let her only be able to call those who are indentified that will a character like vigil could be a potentil counter
Giving ACOG to jager is not a good way to solve fundamental problems of him. In fact, ACOG does not improve the power of Jager that much. The biggest problem of him is "WAMAI".

Make it call players that are within 40 meters of her gadget. All 5 or 1-2 roamers nearby. That's all it's good for anyway.

Curious if the Doki rework will still affect her ability to affect dead defenders watching cams or if that will be completely removed. I guess same with the ability to hack the cams in general. Would be nice to keep that ability or at least something similar otherwise just feels like a offbrand deimos.

Game is incredibly defender sided, certain attackers are meta because they can better leverage defense.
Attackers picked because of said leverage, get butchered because of garbage balancing.
Fuck off ubisoft, give the game to a different developer or replace your balancing department.
